I thought the ferry was very cool...how much does that cost?

Growing up in New Hampshire they made chicken croquettes because most people were French Canadians but they were about 3 inches long and 2 inches wide, not balls with a chicken gravy on top...

I never heard of Chess pie and the lemon was another new one on me but they looked delicious and wondered what was inside? It was beautiful there and I like your accent and you seem like a very nice lady...

Betty, thank you for your video! The Shakers were an amazing people. There are few still in active practice today in certain parts of the country. The Shakers are credited with inventing some of our most common household items, like the corn broom and the washing machine. Thanks again!

Again, wanted to say that was a lovely trip. I have never seen a shaker village and loved the beautiful pottery and furniture..makes me want a road trip! I have been thru parts of KY around Lexington going somewhere else but now I wish I had toured KY on it's own. TY and Rick for the lovely armchair trip, hehe..was a nice adventure! Hi Betty, great trip! Finally good 2 see, Rick..u all make a very handsome couple.I am surprised Rick is normal sized w/all that good cooking & chocolate delights you're always fixin' lol..somebody must be getting fat around there..where's the dog? lol..hope u make the soup as it looked tasty & girl u do not eat enough to keep a bird alive! That little tiny bowl of soup would've been an appetizer 4 me & u only ate 1/2 of it, guess thats why ur tiny & im not! lol. Interesting variation lemon pie.

Rick has put on a little weight, but you guessed right--the dog is getting much more than he used to, and I think he's put on some weight! Everything we had at Shakertown was really good. I hope you like the soup recipe!

I love your trips and especially the follow ups with a recipe or two based on what you ate at your trip. They are very enjoyable and you seem to enjoy to eat at the types of places I love to visit.
