  • How did you acheive such a deep shine, Was this carnauba waxed?

  • That is just shocking, aston martin should be ashamed of them selves

  • so many swirls at the begining

  • GREAT!!!!!!!

  • sleek & sexy

    great job paul

  • This a new car?? Then are you using a special light i guess to find all this defaults. awesome vid 5/5

  • im 19 and i started my own detailing business 3 yrs ago. i did my first $265,000 09' aston martin yesterday. it had many imprefections and now it looks flawless. i will be the paul number 2

  • Pics or it didn't happen.

  • I must say, if that car just rolled off the assembly line aston martin should be ashamed of their production process. I understand that cars are never great even brand new unless properly corrected but this vid showed paint that did not look new at all.

  • I love the work! Fantastic finish!

I'd love to know what compound's and finishing liq you use before cleaner fluid?

and do ou apply cleaner fliud by hand or machine just prior to waxing?

I understand if this is Secret?

  • shaggin your mum

  • What a difference! Well done!

What are these stains in the front before the polish work? BTW do you also fix paint chips? I have the problem that the original metallic paint has a different colour as the touch up paint which i fill in the chips. Any advice?

    Kind Regards

    Werner

  • Hi Werner,

The stains are sanding marks which haven't been polished out when the car was build. Yes, I can do stone chips, I always mix my own paint so I can be sure it matches the car before I start touching in. When you buy a touch up pen, specially a metallic colour, it never matches that well, more so with silvers and light blues.

    Kind Regards

    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

Thanks for your response. It is indeed a light metallic blue (BMW Atlanta Blue) that does not match with the original touch up pen. It is a little darker.

    Kind Regards

    Werner

  • 0:37 ouch!

  • Well done, Paul!

How long does a two-stage correction like this take you to complete?

  • 5 stars

Paul is look better than New my friend?

  • Hi Paul, I purchased the Zymol square wax applicator and the blue wax remover towel, I was wondering what is the best way to apply wax with the pad in circular motion or side to side, and two more questions should I keep the wax applicator pad wet and what is a good towel for drying a car once it has been washed?

  • Hi Marty514, no, that was factory prepped!! The dealership was instructed not clean the car at all!!!

    I mainly use 3M pads.

    Kind Regards

    Paul

  • Good God, was it dealer prepped ?

That would explain a lot of the swirls, haze, rids etc...

The "afters" don't need any explaining, a picture is worth a thousand words.

What did you use for your paint correction pad-wise ?
