To make a song play in alarm download playalarm or playawake from cydia and it will let you play a song in alarm , like for people too see.

You could, but it wouldnt work.

Editing the .plist makes the ipod realize that you want to hear that sound when the alarm goes off.

Try it your way and see what I mean.

You wouldnt hear the song because the ipod doesnt know you want to play that song when the alarm goes off. It only knows this if you specify this in the .plist.

I wish it was that easy but it isnt.

You might have but threw it away. I didnt know what it was for for the longest time. Then I seen a video where someone used it and I realized it was a stand for the ipod touch so that you can watch movies or just stand it up. The Iphones dont have one.

I bet apple would give you another one if you went in to the store or emailed the company. Just a thought.
