OH! I have been looking for this song forever. I had the tune stuck in my head and couldn't remember the name of the song or group and then suddenly....there it is. So happy. Thanks.
this video is out of sync. and yes, the sound quality is bad...although i have to say ive never seen these ladies before. i also believe, its the spring/summer of 1992 this song was on the radio.
wow! i looved these chics.!!!the one w the curly hair was my friends cousin, she sang at our block party and everything,it was awesome, and she was sooo hot in person! i wonder what happened to them?
I remember this song playing on Philadelphia's radio stations over and over..sometimes right after it ended it will repeat.. if i remember correctly it was feb-mar 1993 ..I only remember sequential playing of a song happening once before in 1983 with Karma Chameleon By Culture Club.
I really love this song, brings back memories of good times in 90s and I'm still playing it - now it's on my iPod and never been removed from the list LOL
I used to play this song all the time when I was a club DJ back in the early/mid 90's, but forgot about it till I heard it played in the airport last week. Trying desperately to find MP3s of the single and extended mixs. If anyone has them, please contact me. thanx
Can anyone tell me for sure who is sitting in the spinning chair with the black headband? I am pretty sure it's not Ruth or Johnna, and it dosen't look much like Josselyn or Kimberly... Could that be Renee Veneziale??
Well, that would make sense. But it REALLY doesn't look like her! It jsut doesn't look like her! Besides being much blonder in the rest of the video, her profile (nose) doesn't look the same to me. Maybe its an illusion caused by the headband. :)
They were both filmed 2 years apart. The clips of her spinning round were taken from the original UK video version of the song which was released in 1991. The Black and White clips were from the 1993 US version of the song. The clip posted above was the video released to the UK when it was released here again in 1993. It was a mixture of both!
Apparently you are only counting the US which does not come close to the UK when it comes to pop. In the UK 80-83 was full of action: Wham, Elton John, Culture Club, all the new age stuff. get real!!
This is one of my guilty pleasures. Great pop song, but I always thought it just trailed off into nothingness, as if producers Stock Aitken Waterman had no idea what to do with it once the singing was over. Very odd ending.
From like 1987 to 1993 seems to be the best time for pop music. Everything else seems to just be overly processed these days. The next best period was between 1997 and 2003.
This video is actually the third video for this song and it's comprised of scenes from the other two. The "spinning and sliding chairs" parts (with Johnna's longer hair) is from the 1991 release of the song (with 5 members) and the other parts are from the 1993 release of the song with four members (Renee left the group between 91 and 93).
It took me awhile to find the title of this song and the name of the band but thats what the internet is for. I'm usually a big rock fan but this is one of those pop songs that I really liked but I forgot about it until I was reminiscing about 93 and this song came to mind LOL
Man brings back memories...heard it almost every day in early 93' too when I didn't have a car and had to ride a bus to work listening to this song on my walkman...
There were five members on the first release of the single. The parts of the video with the moving chairs, instruments, etc. are from the first video in 1991, the restaurant parts of the video are new to the 1993 version.

U.S. radio stations need get play songs like these and quit repeating the same "Over-rated" songs everyday.
Who cares what the Corporate Mind Control wants the listener to hear.
