  • your guitar fucking sick...love it!

    how much you bought it?

  • @ventusthewind Thanks! I didn't pay for it - I traded in a Jackson Custom Shop Rhoads.

  • haha...he is showing his middle finger whenever he plays those powerful chord riffs..so cool

  • Again, what the best wood for a kv2 if you want dave mustaine sound?

  • Depends what era Mustaine sound. But the classic Megadeth sound definitely comes from poplar wings. :)

  • i have got the exact same sound as this man does here. Its created with a roland micro cube(mine's a 30watt) and my guitar has seymour duncan pickups.

nice work on that vid ^.-

  • i love your tone man.

  • Really =D

  • To Brutalgrindcoremetal dude yes tell me about ti!!

i have a jackson v guitar and it sucks sitting down it is meant for rock i guess because yo have to stand up :o

  • thats why the rhoads was invented :D

  • It's a practice amp. :)

  • Comment removed

  • @FrankRizzo6662 SIR ! You are the worlds biggest moron!! Didnt you read ? Its a 2W amp =)))

  • I found it freakin impossible to sit with a V

  • @BrutalGrindCoreMetal Lol, it takes a long time to get used to them, but they are pure ownage ;)

  • whats your settings?

  • hey , where do you work ? you must be rich , or you put all your money for guitar passion ? you're long distance player, very experienced ,

i love king v , but this one is a bit milky, still good ,

MOST IMPORTANT, CAN YOU RECOMMEND ME ROLAND CUBE MICRO ???? HOW LONG THE BATTERIES STAY ??/

  • I highly recommend it. Never tried it with batteries though.

  • is that an alder body??

  • It's actually poplar as were almost all Jacksons during that time. They switched to alder in the mid 90s.

  • how much do Jackson Custom guitars usually cost?

  • Used ones can go anywhere between 400-3500 usd depending on the guitar. I don't know what the pricing of new ones is nowadays.

  • cool cuz I want to save up for a custom king v

  • hi man...good job....a question...i have one micro cube and I can't get a good sound like this video (I miss 3 band eq)...can you tell me if you use any pedals or in which level you have the volume knob?

    thanks

    Jorge

  • Thanks! There's no pedal but the guitar has an active midboost circuit. There's also a bit of delay from the micro cube.

  • very cool

  • were those EMG's 81/85?

  • Those are Jackson J50BC and J90N with JE1200 electronics.

  • Hey man, great demo! I never thought the Micro-Cube could do metal too well, but this has proved me wrong! What a brilliant versatile amp this is - I've done a blues demo on YT with it and it get's great tones...

  • Does Microcube inclube adaptor?

Or do i have to buy it seperately?

  • Mine came with an adaptor.

  • Ok, thanks for the info :)

  • did u use any pedals or was it all amp cuz it sounds awsome

  • Just the amp on this video.

  • yeahhhhh men im from mexico city, you are the best, yout take a jackson y2kv, this is the best guitar from dave munstain, i take a jackson rr3, is very cool, yeahhhhhhhhh, the jackson guitars, the best in the world of metal.

  • Terrific playing and your guitar sounds fantastic.

My first guitar was a B.C Rich Warlock platinum pro, but after having it for a awhile i have seen the error of my ways...it look'ed great! until i chipped the headstock but thats the price you pay for evil looks..nice crunchy sound with high sustain, the whammy jack came loose and the guitar makes noise when left unatended..not bad for 600$ although i got it half price.. my next guitar will be a JS30KV King V, jackson are a great brand.

  • bought an esp ax50 few years ago when i couldnt play all that well now im gettin better n needa better guitar DESPERATELY im sure a king v or rr would do me pretty damn good?

  • I think that would be a suitable idea

  • Nice job and a nice guitar too!! Keep up the great work!

  • This is a US made custom shop King V.

  • I WANT THE GUITAR NOW!!!!!

  • That guitar looks and I'm guessing plays beautifully, I'm going to get a custom Jackson RR in a couple of months hopefully :)

Jackson are my favourite guitar brand and the RR is definitely my favourite Jackson model :)

    Awesome shredding btw!

  • Congrats on the upcoming RR! Be sure to post a video of it when you get it. :)

  • I'm getting a Peavey Valveking 112 combo amp.. Its a Tube amp.. :D was 469.99 I'll get it in about a week...Had to special order it from my guitar center...CANT WAIT :)

  • i've been playing guitar for about 5 years, but only started getting really good until almost a year ago. i can do sweeps to perfection and my tapping is exceptional, but what would you say i should do for normal hammer-on and pull-off solos?

  • Use thicker strings with high action for some time. You'll get more strenght in your fingers and once you go back to lower action legato playing seems effortless.

  • I keep watching this video to keep me motivated and not give up on my guitar.

  • Best of youtube.

  • yeah :D lol i got to get ready for school in 1 hour need to rest my eyes.. cant sleep at all.. Hopefully she gives in and lets me get it for xmas.. ill tell her ill pay most of it off aswell once i get a job.. but its a gift for me right ;D so i wont pay!! :D PRAY SHE LETS ME GET A DINKY!! I wish i had $1,999.99 for the Jackson RR1 Randy Rhoads.. its a shame they want $600 dollars more for a different color then black? LOL

  • i still love watching this :)

  • I was wondering where all the views come from. :D Did you start getting lessons again?

  • Sadly no, My teacher who taught me doesn't work at the place i use to go for him.. I got his number but my mom lost his card.. so i need to call them again and get it from them.. I'm not sure what to get for christmas.. Amp or a new guitar.. i got Mini cube but i want a good upgrade to go with my Boss mt-2 metal zone.. i got an esp f50 with emgs in it i want a new guitar aswell lol.. maybe a dinky :P any thoughts?

  • I'd suggest finding a used old US made Jackson Strat or Dinky. Amazing guitars for the price!

  • any recommends for any amp under 500? basicly for blues and metal and such things that kick ass :D?

  • For home use or for band rehearsals/gigs?

  • home use not good enough to be in a band lol.. Jackson DK2M Dinky Electric Guitar is the guitar i mite get its $600.00 comes with * Alder body * Rock maple bolt-on neck * Bound rosewood compound-radius fingerboard * 24 frets * 25-1/2" scale * 1-11/16" nut * Matching headstock * Jackson-licensed Floyd Rose low-profile double locking trem * Sharkfin inlays * Binding binding * Dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers * Black hardware

  • With that price tag you can get a used US made Dinky which is 10 times better as a guitar. :) For amps check out Sansamp combos. They sound great!

  • you mean 10 times better as an amp ? lol my mom wont spend $600 up front she wants to pay monthly :D not rich or nething only reason i got my guitar bc the payment was monthly and she usualy pays it off at income tax time :D

  • Remember to tell her that used high-end guitars only increase in value. :)

  • nice guitar and playing

  • thats a cool finish

  • nice guitar

  • really not the kind of music i'm into but your playing is fantastic. I ordered a microcube on the strength of this clip. Thanks for the upload!

  • It's a cool unit for the price. I posted another vid where I use it (jackson guitar collection)...

  • Dude sick man, nice stuff...how the hell microcube sound that good for 2W??? How loud is it actually in reality if ur just jaming in ur garage or something?

  • lol, Micro Cube has that little thing called 'rec out/phone', you can plug it to the 2000W stage stack if you want, the sweet thing is that you get pretty much the same digital processing unit that is on the expensive model, well just underpowered, you can still hook it to your 5.1 home theater amp and hi-fi repros if you need more presence..

  • Thanks! In this vid the digital camera is capturing the audio coming from the microcube. It's not loud enough for band practice but for jamming to backing tracks at home it's perfect.

  • Because watts=/=tone.

  • YES! Please Jani! Just like ultimateguitar said! PLEASE! DAVE MUSTAINE KING V OMG

  • Proves you dont need a halfstack to be awesome. PLease JANI, post a showcase of your guitars. That would be awesome

  • im digging the zebra guitar

  • you have any pictures for your zhevra style guitar? i'd like to see what is it like (mean better quality than video) or did you buy it

  • I really enjoy watching your vids, Jani(hihi checked your band´s myspace). Always great guitar play.

  • Thanks! We'll be adding a new song soon.

  • Man,you make a microcube sound good!

  • Well done buddy! How you do that sitting down, I have no idea, especially with that V shaped weapon you are playin there...

    Keep on shreddin buddah!

  • Dude seriously you got me really inspired and pumped THANK YOU!

  • I don't know whether to praise the player, guitar or amplifier.

It all comes together pretty well :)

  • you got so many guitars that i almost ask to send me one xD and you would`t even notice :P

    very nice song ;)

  • Reverse Jackson headstocks ftw

  • whats settings did you put for that sound?

  • Rectifier modelling, Gain at 6-7, Tone at 6-7 and a little bit of delay in there. The guitar has JE1200 active electronics which makes a big difference in sound.

  • Oh Thank's Man.. how long you been playing?

  • 10 years.

  • Thanks Ive been playing about a year and a half. I'm waiting for my mom to get the time so i could go back to guitar lessons.. Were you self taught?

  • Yes. I just played things I liked. I did read a lot of guitar mags and used tabs to learn stuff. Nowadays I wish I had used my ears more though.

  • Thx for the in site about using your ear's i need to try that more, I use Guitar Pro atm.*goes and picks up guitar magazines*

  • Sweet shreddn' Buddy! Cool axe too.

    Long Live the Microcube! lol

  • I can see the George Lynch inspiration in you my friend! keep rocking and metal forever!

  • That's funny to hear as I don't really know his work too much - especially his lead style. Maybe the legato influence that I've taken from Chris Holmes is similar to George's style?

  • well i mean i could see the influence because of the tiger paint job on your jackson since george has a tiger paint job on his esp guitar

  • hahaa that comment made me laugh

  • hey i noticed that headstock is reversed did it come like that or did you buy a seperate neck cuz i have a rhoads i want to put a reverse headstock on.

  • It was ordered like that in 89. It's a neck-thru guitar so you can't change the neck on it.

  • big sound from a small amp!! and ultra clean playing as usual! keep up the good work my friend!

  • Yeah.

I have played Jacksons all the way. I have a KVX10 and a King V Professional from 94-95. I'll post some videos soon, even though I'm not a good player.

  • Great playing. Where the hell do you get all those King Vs and how do you afford them?

  • Thanks! I have "only" 3 KVs at the moment. They are not as expensive as people think - especially since I buy them all used and don't care if they are not mint. :)

  • thats a good policy to have. if it works who cares if its used.

  • Great job Jani! Keep up the good work!!!

  • amazing

  • never heard of deadlock but this playin reminds me of 80's metal

  • Fantastic!

  • METAL ONWARD!

  • not sloppy dude..

    shred that axe bro.....
