At the end of our shows we like to smack our amps with our guitars. Well I looked like an oyock smacking this amp with my axe, damn people booed me off stage.
hi man...good job....a question...i have one micro cube and I can't get a good sound like this video (I miss 3 band eq)...can you tell me if you use any pedals or in which level you have the volume knob?
Hey man, great demo! I never thought the Micro-Cube could do metal too well, but this has proved me wrong! What a brilliant versatile amp this is - I've done a blues demo on YT with it and it get's great tones...
yeahhhhh men im from mexico city, you are the best, yout take a jackson y2kv, this is the best guitar from dave munstain, i take a jackson rr3, is very cool, yeahhhhhhhhh, the jackson guitars, the best in the world of metal.
Terrific playing and your guitar sounds fantastic.
My first guitar was a B.C Rich Warlock platinum pro, but after having it for a awhile i have seen the error of my ways...it look'ed great! until i chipped the headstock but thats the price you pay for evil looks..nice crunchy sound with high sustain, the whammy jack came loose and the guitar makes noise when left unatended..not bad for 600$ although i got it half price.. my next guitar will be a JS30KV King V, jackson are a great brand.
bought an esp ax50 few years ago when i couldnt play all that well now im gettin better n needa better guitar DESPERATELY im sure a king v or rr would do me pretty damn good?
I'm getting a Peavey Valveking 112 combo amp.. Its a Tube amp.. :D was 469.99 I'll get it in about a week...Had to special order it from my guitar center...CANT WAIT :)
i've been playing guitar for about 5 years, but only started getting really good until almost a year ago. i can do sweeps to perfection and my tapping is exceptional, but what would you say i should do for normal hammer-on and pull-off solos?
Use thicker strings with high action for some time. You'll get more strenght in your fingers and once you go back to lower action legato playing seems effortless.
yeah :D lol i got to get ready for school in 1 hour need to rest my eyes.. cant sleep at all.. Hopefully she gives in and lets me get it for xmas.. ill tell her ill pay most of it off aswell once i get a job.. but its a gift for me right ;D so i wont pay!! :D PRAY SHE LETS ME GET A DINKY!! I wish i had $1,999.99 for the Jackson RR1 Randy Rhoads.. its a shame they want $600 dollars more for a different color then black? LOL
Sadly no, My teacher who taught me doesn't work at the place i use to go for him.. I got his number but my mom lost his card.. so i need to call them again and get it from them.. I'm not sure what to get for christmas.. Amp or a new guitar.. i got Mini cube but i want a good upgrade to go with my Boss mt-2 metal zone.. i got an esp f50 with emgs in it i want a new guitar aswell lol.. maybe a dinky :P any thoughts?
home use not good enough to be in a band lol.. Jackson DK2M Dinky Electric Guitar is the guitar i mite get its $600.00 comes with * Alder body * Rock maple bolt-on neck * Bound rosewood compound-radius fingerboard * 24 frets * 25-1/2" scale * 1-11/16" nut * Matching headstock * Jackson-licensed Floyd Rose low-profile double locking trem * Sharkfin inlays * Binding binding * Dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers * Black hardware
you mean 10 times better as an amp ? lol my mom wont spend $600 up front she wants to pay monthly :D not rich or nething only reason i got my guitar bc the payment was monthly and she usualy pays it off at income tax time :D
Dude sick man, nice stuff...how the hell microcube sound that good for 2W??? How loud is it actually in reality if ur just jaming in ur garage or something?
lol, Micro Cube has that little thing called 'rec out/phone', you can plug it to the 2000W stage stack if you want, the sweet thing is that you get pretty much the same digital processing unit that is on the expensive model, well just underpowered, you can still hook it to your 5.1 home theater amp and hi-fi repros if you need more presence..
Thanks! In this vid the digital camera is capturing the audio coming from the microcube. It's not loud enough for band practice but for jamming to backing tracks at home it's perfect.
Rectifier modelling, Gain at 6-7, Tone at 6-7 and a little bit of delay in there. The guitar has JE1200 active electronics which makes a big difference in sound.
That's funny to hear as I don't really know his work too much - especially his lead style. Maybe the legato influence that I've taken from Chris Holmes is similar to George's style?
hey i noticed that headstock is reversed did it come like that or did you buy a seperate neck cuz i have a rhoads i want to put a reverse headstock on.
I have played Jacksons all the way. I have a KVX10 and a King V Professional from 94-95. I'll post some videos soon, even though I'm not a good player.
Thanks! I have "only" 3 KVs at the moment. They are not as expensive as people think - especially since I buy them all used and don't care if they are not mint. :)

It's actually poplar as were almost all Jacksons during that time. They switched to alder in the mid 90s.

how much do Jackson Custom guitars usually cost?
thrashmetal1029 2 years ago
Used ones can go anywhere between 400-3500 usd depending on the guitar. I don't know what the pricing of new ones is nowadays.

With that price tag you can get a used US made Dinky which is 10 times better as a guitar. :) For amps check out Sansamp combos. They sound great!
