Bills to put NAIS into law, HR875 and companion Senate S814, are being pushed through Congress, as well as an Appropriations Bill with funding for NAIS. This hearing is critical to blocking mandatory NAIS.

I don't really agree with chips being implanted in animals mainly because it seems as if it'll be a very costly thing.

Also comparing mice or rats to dogs or any other house pet is extremely naive. A lab rat or mouse is more likely to catch a disease such as cancer with a procedure like that than a house pet ever would.

I'm not really for chips being implanted into humans but i'm not against it either. I don't really see why anyone would be against it either, unless you have something to hide.

No way in hell will they chip me or any pet that I have. I plan on adopting a couple dogs in the near future and will not adopt any dog with the chip based on moral and ethical grounds. We dont need our pets or ourselfs chipped for ANY reason.
