@djcactus I wrote DonP a NICE letter w/Xplanation...silenced him. NOW since U asked!! I "BELIEVE" dude from Coldplay (UK) happened 2 C DONKEY PUNCH (underground film but well known IN the UK) before going 2 studio (& hearing MY song 4 YEARS on tv & radio (in UK)) MY PIANO riff stuck in his mind. Coldplay guy is quoted saying something like 'had a melody in mind as he went INto studio late 1 night' unlike Guetta who LOOPED it & remade LUV TAKES OVA around it, then slightly changed it! LB BAD

@BadBalenax agreed, although "clocks" predates donkey punch by around 6 years, was new age of faith on donkey punch?
i used to have the nu groove release, but it was stolen,it might have been a bootleg or repressing though

@djcactus THIS IS LB GOOD. Its nothing NEW for white kids to RIP off black musicians. Nothing new for white kids to get paid & leave the originators OUT. In classical music those songs would be sold/published/and marketed with the tag BASED ON WORKS by SUCH N SUCH. Then both parties get paid...KEEPING the money FLOWING amongst look alikes. Its a racism that MOST refuse to see, but HERE IT IS!! SOONER THAN LATER the thieving demons SHALL FALL & the righteous will PREVAIL!

@BadBalenax fair enough, i wouldnt say its a racism thing though, plenty black artists sample tracks that the original creator gets no credit for, no doubt though the original idea of the track they are sampling has roots in black music, its a vicious circle
