  • Madonna used this melody to recreate her Live to Tell song while hanging from the cross in 2006 :D

  • swollen members definetly hit this sample a long time ago

  • I heard Skrillex covered this and re\named it amplifier.

  • @DJLil2010 Or you could stop being a hater and learn your history. Skrillex and Diplo sampled the DJ Shadow track that reworked this song.

  • This song is the shit! fuck yea!

  • 1972

  • Generation 3.14! =)

  • I should have known that DJ Shadow would have taken the sample for Organ Donor from a great musician. He used it so much it was almost like an inside joke. I do like the DJ Shadow track, though not my favorite, Moroder's original is much better.

Moroder is amazing. Funny thing though, while I have been a big fan of his music for some time from the scores of Neverending Story as a kid to hearing Chase in a club as a teen to Scarface as an adult, I have only recently connected the dots.

  • It's like four bars of Bach repeated. I love GM but I don't really get this.

If you like this not just Bach is there to discover but also Philip Glass - try this watch?v=RFnmH9a2RkE

  • @MrLukasart

guess stolen is the wrong word. used the sample, but this is only allowed, if you want to release it, with the permisson of the songs owner...so be careful calling other pepole fucking assholes. before you know the facts...

  • @MrLukasart

well, but i say (and i do not know anything about you) you have for sure some music in your collection, where samples from other songs are used. so you can call every musician a fucking unoriginal asshole, just because they use samples from other songs!

is it that what you want to say?

by the way, MrLukasart, how old are you. and why are you so angry about the used sample from this song?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrLukasart Oh quite the opposite, look at the acclaim Endtroducing got compared to Moroder's album. Music is all about opinions but to call it unoriginal is complete ignorance.

  • @ursulade: you are smoking crack

  • 1 person didnt find his/her dad :)

  • I knew it old school is the best school!

  • its awesome, it reminds me of Death in Vegas's Dirge (or visa versa)

  • @seifukusha Yeah for sure. I can see them going well in a mix back to back.

  • enjoyable :) especially from 1:00

  • You got an organ goin' there. No wonder the sound has so much body...

  • @angerorlando You're probably right, i just always heard it as. "You're an organ donor. No wonder the sound so much bothers you..."

  • 1979

  • i love the dj shadow version and also the sample used by swollen members on their track fuel injected.

  • @Lumberjoe lol, I was trying to remember the name of the Swollen Members song that I recognized the sound from!, thanks lol

  • wow fucking chillwave!

  • ha, i think the majority of people who looks this song up heard it in the DJ Shadow Brainfreeze mix or on the Endtroducing album. Song rocks my socks off tho :D

  • @PtCobra I discovered Giogio Moroder when I was a 12-year-old kid who was obsessed with Scarface. :D

  • @kuksugare88 haha okay, is this track in Scarface tho? I saw that movie twice but Im not connecting the pieces here haha

  • @PtCobra This particular track isn't, no. Giorgio did the soundtrack for Scarface.

  • can someone explain the difference between this and children of the mission? It the same track right?

  • I like this but there is a reason why DJ shadow's album endtroducing is renowned as one of the greatest albums of all time.

  • dj shadow sure knows how to ruin a song.... hahaha no but seriously the original is always better.

  • @TheSwampus

:D god bless your posting skills

  • rza...tragedy...
