Nice pneumatic prop. Did you use a counterweight to get more speed in the popup action? It looks like you did on the video. I hadn't thought of doing that, but may be just the ticket to get mine to come up faster. Nice work!
This guy was powered with a wiper motor rather than pneumatic. I did install two large springs to assist in the lift so that the motor basically just wound the slinger down and the spring tension launched him. Thanks!
The only actual cost was around $20 for the 2x4 framing and two large springs. We cut up a trashed hammock frame for the four bar mechanism and the armature is aluminum bar from a trashed camper top.
