  • Nice pneumatic prop. Did you use a counterweight to get more speed in the popup action? It looks like you did on the video. I hadn't thought of doing that, but may be just the ticket to get mine to come up faster. Nice work!

  • This guy was powered with a wiper motor rather than pneumatic. I did install two large springs to assist in the lift so that the motor basically just wound the slinger down and the spring tension launched him. Thanks!

  • The only actual cost was around $20 for the 2x4 framing and two large springs. We cut up a trashed hammock frame for the four bar mechanism and the armature is aluminum bar from a trashed camper top.
