  • @Juliasblues although he is very good, i personally prefer Howlin' Wolf, you should listen to some of his stuff, Smokestack Lightning is one of his best.

  • @MrThedalaillamaknows .......I like Howlin'Wolf very well, thanks for sharing. I believe I only saw him live once, back around '71, at The Colonial Tavern on Younge St. in Toronto. I remember him as Big and Awesome. Very powerful Bluesman indeed ! Once again, thx....PeaceLoveBlues.....spread the news !

    How about James Cotton ?

  • @Juliasblues what!? that sounds like an interesting story, why dont you tell us a bit more please!... that d be fantastic, cheers.

  • @tanukitejon ..Well Muddy played Toronto a lot, and one time, while my boyfriend (Buster Benton) was playing Muddy's guitar, Muddy told me," Julie, my band don't need me ! Aren't they fantistic ? ! " I said " Ya, But " ..he said " I just want it carried on."

He said " I got the artheritis, real bad."....

Buster told me. I won't say who, but he said " ____ fired Johnny Winters for getting too much attention, and Muddy Waters hired him and called him Son "

Muddy Waters had a very Generous Soul.

  • @Juliasblues wow thats amazing, you are very generous for sharing too.. thank you!

  • @tanukitejon Please check out Buster Benton's sweet guitar. You will find him on Youtube......PeaceLoveBlues.....
