  • The E46 looks much more robust than the E36 IMHO. I would put in the Signature Motoring performance intake kit for only around $150 and gain up to 13HP on the stock output for the 330i and a bit less for the 325 and 328. I highly recommend this item, see my youtube channel for the action video on it.

    -Installs in round 45min.

    -Guaranteed HP increase

    -Induction sound to die for

    -Awesome fit/finish.

See my video of how it sounds AND performs!

  • @fordamain dumb americans discovered electricity and created the internet so brainless fucktards like you can post stupid comments.

  • Forgot to say: my car is a 2003 330xi 6 speed. I think I'm going to pull the trans before I just go ahead and order a clutch.

  • There are always jealous haters for every video on YouTube. . . Anyway, the same thing happened to me: I was driving slowly out of the parking garage at work when all of a sudden the revs went up and I was not gaining speed. It was like the transmission came out of gear. So; like you, I tried some other gears and quickly confirmed that the engine was not engaging with the trans. I had no warning, no slippage, just went bad like somebody turned off a switch to my clutch.

  • @fordamain Says the guy who has ford in his screenname ?

Im swedish and i know how to drive clutch, previous owner obviously didn't(car broke down 10k km after i bought it)

  • Lol wtfffffff? Hahahaha

  • how many miles on it? what model? what year?

  • @frogvillage 220000km or 130-140k miles, 323i -98 :)

  • @BMWPOWER4U Do you have dyno of that gain ?

Modefying the stock airbox is the way to go unless you're looking for that special sound.

  • @Pir4t Yes, dyno gains of before/after are available from Signature Motoring. They emailed them to me on the E46 330i. Further, Signature Motoring offers a money-back guarantee on HP gain so its HP in the pocket. I have a 328i. Cheers.

  • I think this video should be called camera fail :D

  • @sipahi61 Whyy :( You can see the RPM's , speed , the foot off the clutch and me shifting gears :D

  • @Pir4t I kno man :) had the same thing happen to me im just messing around ;)

  • @Pir4t I think he's referring to the crap camera quality, but apart from that it's a great example video of a (heavily) cooked clutch, well done.

  • hey i have the same problem, how did you fix it????? its only change the clutch???? thanks

  • if you notice, he speeds up just a little bit but still

  • if you new there was something wrong with the clutch why would you rev it so much???? just to make a youtube video???

  • @PupleHaz420 Basically , it was failing and would need replacement anyway.

Sure revving it would wear it a bit , but i would need a tow anyways ^^

  • @Pir4t oh i was under the impression since you were driving it that you could have just drivin it to a shop. didnt think it was to the point that it wouldnt engage at all.

  • @PupleHaz420 Ironicly, I was on my way to my shop(DIY ftw) to do some small changes to the car xD

  • sucks man not looking forward to that, you DIY or bring it to a mech?

  • @briant2828 Did it myself , i can't afford and don't trust mechs with my car :(

  • @Pir4t good job man im probably going to do my clutch at the end of the summer along with the 5 gear shifter problem. idk if you get that but the shifter sometimes sits infront of the 5th gear insted of the middle 3-4th... pisses me off so much im taking the trans down to repair it

  • @briant2828 Yeah i've got that too , unfortunatly i read about it after i had done my clutch , you can't imagine how pissed i was xD

  • ~~~~~~

    (\ /)

    ( . .)

c(")(") This rabbit makes you lose the game.

Could someone assist me, I can't seem to get these hands off of my wrists.

Upon reading this, you've killed 10 brain cells.

PLUTO IS A PLANET, SCREW YOU SCIENTIST FAGS.

Copy and paste this to other vids if you think pplz is too smart.

  • @noogai8 holy shit, spam...

  • Why are you driving with a burnt clutch with DSC off?

  • @xxxashleywhitexxx i Only have ASC , i have it off since the road was icy on some parts and not on other , having ASC cut power every few seconds bugs the shit out of you.

And if you know how to drive in bad weather a little ice isn't going to make you crash.

  • OIC, I have an E46 M3, BMW clutches are generally adaptive, you don't notice slipping until it suddenly goes one day.

  • exactly !

I had only noticed that it slipped a few days earlier , flooring it in 5th would rev more than i was gaining speed for a few seconds, so i was kind of expecting this , just not this fast :(

  • I feather my clutch as well, still going strong though, especially with a CDV BMW forces you to burn your clutch somewhat.

  • well thats gonna happen if you burnout too much lol

  • @Chiuas666 In a burnout you just have the tires slip , this was caused by slipping the clutch too much allowing it to get overheated making the metal in the presure plate "set" in the disengaged position.

  • thats suck i hope it will never happen to me lol

  • Pretty stupid to keep driving when it's slipping like that.

  • Pretty stupid to stop on a dark freeway with freezing rain when you'r on your way to a garage anyway :)

  • same thing happen to mine but i just need the clutch kit not flywheel

  • this happened to me because my crankshaft seal was bad and oil went into the flywheel causing slip.

  • Aw that sucks :(

Luckely i "just" needed a new clutch kit (pressure plate forks got warped)

  • this is painful :(

kinda like watching a baby seal die.

  • Hahah , thats an awesome comment :D

Ah well , if nothing else it was a good reason to get a lightweigth flywheel :D

  • definitely TRUE!!! go on bro, may the bmw force be with you.
