the dark king isnt undead. phoebe's cure doesnt deal damage to him, only the main character.

its a bug.

I never knew Cure is very effective against the Dark King. All I did was casting Flare and White against him over and over.

How could anyone know that?

In this game some monsters can be damaged with the cure spell because it has a reverse effect on them. With the dark king the cure spell causes so much damage that it skips a few forms & he dies, cool huh?

It's not technically a glitch. Since the Dark King is undead, you can use healing spells to take him down quickly.

Its a good game. In all honesty, it is linear as hell. No side quests or extra places to visit. Its as straightforward as you can get. But even with that, I awlways liked it. Graphic-wise, I thought it was pretty good. It was my first RPG (then FFIV followed).
