I'd be genuinely pissed off if the stadium played something over the Penn State Blue Band's field entrance. I hope the kids in Bama's band feel the same way.
My only problem with the entrance is they are a marching BAND shouldn't they play themselves out or at least to a cadence instead of a soundtrack. Or is marching and playing too hard to do while entering a field
@UnallowedUserName This much I understand. That's my point why don't they play as they come out or rather cadence instead of using a video/soundtrack.
Love this entrance. It is great and so dramatic. Can not anyone being so tasteless to not like this entrance.....must be a vile or a barner.....must be oklahomie state or those fans of the buckeyes who never have and never will beat a Bama football team....beats the hell out of the lame doting of the I....how boring is that and with a French march, to boot.
I miss the days when the MDB lined both sidelines, then darted in from both sides to a fast drum cadence, one long line at a time, capes flying behind them. Then they would do a really cool intro and go right into the big bama spell out. After the band had spelled out Bama, THEN the announcer would do the "Now, everybody on your feet for the greatest Bama tune of all time!" followed by the fight song and then Bamy Bound. It was seamless and was a gradual build in intensity. Not amnymore. =(
Auburn's pregame is so much better. They actually play their own music.

Why, Dr Ozello? Why? What gives with the canned music? What would Mr. Wilcox think?

@andreasgriffable I think a football video sequence is shown while the band marches out. That's why they don't provide the music themselves.

Why isn't "Stars Fell on Alabama" part of the pregame?
And, do the crimsonettes practice?

2 things. 1 - Entrance is really lame. 2 - What is the last song that ends with Yea Alabama?

The song right before Yea Alabama is Vintage Yea. There's only so many things you can do to get em on the field
