  • Check out my photos and videos from Fabulous Fords Forever 2010!!

  • that is the dumbest shit ive ever heard.

  • As efficient as they're supposed to be, I just can't stomach how quiet the revised rotor profiles make the new Kenne Bell superchargers. If I've got a hard hitting Twin Screw under the hood, I want everyone to hear it when I stomp the loud pedal. Even my little Eaton screams louder than that thing and its only 90ci. I miss the old Autorotor design :(

  • the S197's dont really whine. You need a saleen blower or a roush TVS blower to make the whine. KB and Whipples arent too loud

  • @MustangMan07 Backwards. KenneBells and Whipples are famous for being extremely whiny.

  • @dbuschhorn Not on new stangs...

  • @MustangMan07 Whipples actually have a louder whine than saleen..for the s197. ive got saleen series VI on mine

  • that video sux donkey balls Don't even put shit like that on here if you can't do any better.

  • from what i heard the kb's dont make too much whinning

thats cool it keeps a low profile lol

your blowing but look stock =]

  • Ok, where the frook did my comment go? I posted a full 500 character response, where'd it go?!!!

In short, quiet = efficient. You don't hear the new KB's b/c they're efficient. If you hear a supercharger, it's b/c it's wasting power on friction (the sound you hear).

  • Volume has nothing to do with efficiency. The 5th Gen Magnum Powers M112 will meet or beat a 2.1L Kenne Bell in efficiency all the way accross the board and it's hybrid roots design boasts only 1.84ci displacement in comparison...an its loud as hell. Hell, the new Eaton TVS design is as good as it gets for Positive Displacement blower (yes, even more so than the famed Twin Screw) and its plenty loud.

  • I have an '06 GT, and have a 2.6L Kenne Bell. The reason you hear no whine is because the new Kenne Bells are very efficient. You'll only hear the whine on the '05+ cars at very high boost levels (15 PSI+). The more efficient the blower, the less noise it makes. Noise = lost power due to friction. Then again, those asking for the noise, I'd not expect you to understand that.

  • yea witht the big bore superchargers they dont havta run on much boost at all

  • wats a kenne bell?

  • LOL @ zeid! bahahaah

  • that car is quiet =( my 97 bird is so loudd seems relaxing haha

  • cool video...no wait.. it sucked. GAYYY

  • Cool video. I wish speedometer was visible because it's hard to estimate the speed on the video

  • Dads Car,,lol

  • Dads Car

  • no whinning eh, that sucks man

  • yo u can't have a supercharger without the whine. u miss out on all the fun

  • Man, I love a good V8 rumble.

  • yeh, i mean i like sleepers as much as the next guy, but if its a kenne bell at least let it whine

  • probley running lower boost.

  • wow yea nice gauges who makes them?

  • BOO missing supercharger whine!!!

  • nice gauges

  • why couldn't i hear the sugercharger?

  • Nice car, you should remake this movie in the day time so we can actually see it though
