You are editing an IP address that only works on your computer, everyone else's game would still say you only have 9000 or w/e gold in that mine cuz you didn't change their IP address. This is either fake or Blizzard was actually asking clients what the variable was on certain things which also makes no sense... I think this is fake.

EXPLANATION: Server based multi-player games can't be hack by memory editing software like Cheat Engine. You would only be disconnected, if you changed your memory data, because it would not match with the other computers and with the server. Ex. If you edited your gold from 10 to 99990, you only have the 99990 gold value in your memory, but with the other computers' memory, your gold value is just 10. Cheat engine edits ONLY YOUR COMPUTER MEMORY.

Actually, it works only localy. If youhave changed 4 bytes in your memory. It doesn't mean that this number was sended to server. Your ally can not see that, because on the server the numbers are normal. To get the same results you can take a marker and draw gold numbers on the screen. ;-)

Guys, the game disconnect you when the real gold in the mine end, so if you have 10 gold in the cave, and use cheat to do 100, when you obtain 10 gold, automatically when you go to obtain the gold in +, you disconnect

I'm pretty darn sure that the gold in the mine is still the original amount but you just see it differently. So the mine would collapse still after you have brought 12 000 gold out of it. I haven't tried that cheat but I do have a common sense and some knowledge of CE and WC3.

yeah it's deffinately the display number. Even starcraft has basic synchornization to keep you from modifying unit stats.

its a replay. if you modify thingss that just get reset it doesnt show it in the replay. if u mod your damage to 99999999 itll reset it and just LOOK like you do 9999999 damage and the replay shows that you didnt mod it at all. this works

this is gameplay. You can clearly tell because he is building things. And replays are just recorded game actions. There's no game action built in to modify a buildings resource ammount.
