Once you get these, you never get over it! I'm supposed to be "lice-free," but every itch on my scalp has me running for one of "home remedies." Try original Listerine. Douse your head in it (be careful not to get it in your eyes), then cover your head with an unlined plastic shower cap. Then go to sleep. In the morning, rinse out your head, add conditioner, then have someone METICULOUSLY comb out the nits.
