i love how hamonix sold off guitar hero to neversoft so that harmonix could make a game with all instruments and then guitar hero just go and make that game anyway and rip rock band to pieces.

Neversoft have always been clever. But you have to give it to Harmonix for inventing Guitar Hero in the first place. Does anyone ever remember playing Amplitude....it was on the ps2...i still have the game but no ps2. I wish it would come on xbox originals even tho it isn't.

music studio is fucking gay, this was the only thing that would of pulled GHWT to the top but now Rock band is gonna rape this, Neversoft really made this game shit, the music studio, only 3 minutes of recording, no vocals, and you can only put 1000 notes, Rock Band kills GH by having new weekly DLC and a WAY better setlist and better drums

ok number 1: how many good songs do u know that would be easy to put on Guitar hero that are less than 3 minutes?

Number 2: You can't create GHero charts from uploaded mp3s to your system

This will be awesome, except for a few things:

1.) A lot of people are going to put crappy songs that either last 10 seconds or make no sense.

2.) A lot of people will try to make 'the toughest song ever only to end up making weird sounds and noises that hurt your ears through the song.

When this comes out Im going to be looking for 'real' songs. Songs that sound like the guitar or drum part for the actual song. They said they made a nearperfect version of smells like teen spirit so idk

you do realize that instead of writing songs on a toy over xbl or psn you can go to a friend's house and write songs on instruments. Don't get me wrong i love GH and RB, but i am a guitarist and i don't see the point of trying to make a real song on a game. Why not write a real song on a guitar bass or drums first and once you perfect it, then put it on guitar hero?
