I'm just hearing this background music and it makes me want to start singing "What do tigers dream of, when they take a little tiger snooze?" from the hangover. lol. idk why. it just sounds like that.
Bought this book (by Robert Fulgham) over 25 years ago. I periodically return to reading it when I want to put things back into perspective and simplify my life. It's a Joy to read, simple, funny, profound, interesting and above all every bit as valid as the ten commandments. Wonderful Post.
@ScottishArtFan: I like this book of essays, too. Robert Fulghum is well-known in our country and I adore his books full of humanity first of all.He is an extraordinary person, that´s true.Several years ago he visited Prague and his TV interview was a kind of wisdom I have ever heard. Regards from CZ!!

The Secret of life.
is the ability to enter into the present moment.
as you learn to live through experiences with childlike openness,
grace wil begin to flow through you.
When, like a child, you expierences life with emptiness and wonders,
then life itself,
with all its mystery,
will fulfill your deepest longings.
