I wonder how you are doing now Marco? I hope you are safe. I have a question for you as an undocumented college student. I realize why your parents like so many others left Mexico even though remaining in the country illegally, well, is a crime as it is in any country. Having said that and in light of the anti-illegal immigration campaign and laws cropping up, I have to ask: with a US education have you though how you would put that great education to use in Mexico if it came to that?
Marco, being an illegal alien on my land is nothing to be proud of. We defeated the dream nightmare act 7 times already, hopefully for good this time. You need to do the right thing and return to your country of origin and help your own people with all that wonderful knowledge you've acquired so far AT OUR EXPENSE. Tell your parents that their criminal act has resulted in your being an illegal anchor baby is not the American's fault, but theirs. You seem nice, so we'll deport you last.
@fjm1061 LOL ok buddy, keep "defeating" the dream nightmare one more time and not realize that undocumented people in the US do in fact contribute to YOUR OWN SOCIAL SECURITY WITHOUT RECEIVING ANY BENEFITS BACK. Many of us pay taxes, follow the law, and go to college to eventually graduate with a REWARDING DEGREE LIKE ENGINEERING. If anything, you should thank us, because our non-waived tuition at colleges is what keeps them afloat from the economic crisis.
I have Dream as well. I have a dream of legally walking out of my bank with a bag stuffed full of someone else’s money. Not Bank Robbery of Course, just an “Undocumented Bank Withdrawal” nothing wrong with that right?
If they put up a fuss I could just call them racist haters.
@stonecold822004 Can you please forward me the address of this bank you talk about? Because from what I know of, Undocumented college graduates don't steal money - instead, if given the right to live and work here in the US, would actually pay more tax money than the average American and would create a multiplier effect in the job market as a Mechanical Engineer.
Doesn't matter what your intentions are for being here illegally. You still broke the law. Many American citizens rob and steal to feed their families. But when they get caught, their is no sympathy because they broke the law. But the DREAM Act is just like going to the bank that has a sign saying "THE VAULT IS OPEN. HELP YOURSELF."
@NoDreamAct WRONG, because the DREAM Act is for undocumented COLLEGE students, which implies that if given the right to residency, undocumented college graduates would generate more revenue for the government in the form of taxes! Of course, if you were just a bit more educated, then you would realize the beneficial economical factors of the DREAM Act. You instead resist into thinking of new ways to revitalize the American economy and resort to the "blame game".
