  • what is wrong with me

  • doble sprit quit

  • Thank you...

  • 3:20 to the end is fucking awesome

  • The bit where the bass stops, the drums hit and the feedback comes in is far too sexy to listen to.

  • Nirvana - what an amazing, heavy amazing rock band!

  • you can tell they really like the song

  • Gavin Rossdale

  • @AndyVerok What do you mean by this?

  • If this never gets on dvd I swear there is something wrong with MTV

  • hay did any one see the movie What we do is Secret about the germs, and pat smear. where in the end of the movie he buys a new guitar, and plays it at there last show? is that the guitar in this video?

  • Nirvana Rocks !!

  • were is this?

  • @joseph97svk seattle

  • lol, i love how pat is grabbing a quick cig at the start. totally rock n roll

  • I miss him.

  • "What's wrong with me??!!♪" I ask myself every fuckin' day =/

  • is very very very good...

  • I refuse to believe Kurt hated Dave, even though (or especially since) that bitch Courtney said so.

  • @roisina1 hell yeah man, i dont believe it at all

  • this song pounds so fucking hard.

  • probably the best song from nirvana...

  • I love at 4:05 where his face completley dissapears under his hair

  • honestly, it's the best song of this concert

  • Comment removed

  • uuuggggghhhhhh to have BEEN there.....

  • the best band ever! hey aljaesson cant you see the irony in this lyrics?

  • @srodriguesbf I dont want what i have got...

  • i love it when he goes in smasm mode

  • Tomorrow it's going to be 17 years without Kurt. I'm angry, angry at the person who killed him. But that's today, tomorrow it's going to be about remembering this, remembering Kurt's existance. It was 27 years of pure genius. We have to rejoice that he was here, that he breathed this air and stepped on this earth for some years.

Everyone needs some Nirvana sometime, of that I'm sure, so let's enjoy this awesome music that can get us through hard, happy, sad times and be remember Kurt happily.

  • @MagnusCleopatra said nicely, but you said you're angry at the person who killed him. he killed himself

  • @Diaz126025 Mmh, I've read some stuff NOT on the internet that made me change my mind about that.

  • @MagnusCleopatra what about the suicide note?

  • @Diaz126025 That's where I got my theory from. The last four or five lines are so not his handwrite. And the rest of the lines talk about leaving music industry, not quiting life..

  • What is that amazing sound at the beginning, i know its a pedal of some sort (i think), but i want one, what is it?

  • @PBANDSNOW Scentless Apprentice" & "Radio-Friendly Unit Shifter" (1993) by Nirvana, using an Electro-Harmonix poly chorus on the guitar.

  • @KnifePlusWrist Thanks a lot, where do they use it on scentless though?

  • @PBANDSNOW I have no idea... I guess just the general feedback? Kurt uses the chorus in most of his songs... but the sound at the beginning of this song is a flanging effect, just borrow a flanger and play around :D

  • This song is more of a rock anthem than anything Nirvana ever put out! This should be their best selling song, not that mainstream shit!!!

  • what a fucking powerhouse of a song! i miss kurt and nirvana so MUCH. RIP Kurt D. Cobain

  • those lucky son of bitches, that crowd!!!!!!

  • .....back when Mtv was good

  • by the time pat throws his cigarette u know the shit is ON

  • @BayouBluesMan

    that part's so cool

  • the place is about to explode

  • I have always loved the irony in the title.

  • Oh hell yeah, this song rocks. When I was a teen in the 90's playin' drums in a band at parties.. We always played this.. along with everything else Nirvana.. That's all anyone wanted to hear. lol..

  • @MySteph123456

    merde tu fai chier

  • @MySteph123456

c la fain pour nous aussi

  • Kurt Cobain tu nous menque

  • curt tu nous menque

  • Very pixies-esque, near the end of the song when they all break away to do their own thing. Great stuff.

  • THAT... was the shit...

  • God, this is good

  • Any big Nirvana fan will tell you that even though they never met Kurt you feel like you did, thats because his music is so honest and open. He was one of a kind RIP Kurt.

  • "I love you for what I am not." <--- I think that's dedicated to his daughter.

  • Holy Sh*t this song never gets old. still one of the best songs ever and this performance is top notch!

  • LOL 3:43

  • Pat Smear bugs the hell out of me

  • that's the real GRUNGE...

  • Fuck yeah! This has got to be my favorite Nirvana song

  • What was the name of the other guitar player?

  • @klymaxx That's Pat Smear.

  • @IAmTheInternets Thanks Buddy!

  • this is the best outta the nirvana pile....no doubt about it

  • love you for what I am not...

  • "Its just a vid of an amazing song that doesnt get the credit it deserves"

    Soo true

  • crazy ending

  • rip mtv

  • @xxxIzekeIxxx Nice joke. MTV sucked even with Nirvana, it's just the fact NIRVANA was so amazing.

  • Yeah! isn't that pat smear? There are a lot of good shots of him in this video. Usually they pretend he doesn't exist. I understand people not liking him, but I am a big germs fan so i think he's pretty cool.

  • I wish I was that second guitarist

  • Yeah! Isn't that Pat Smear? There's a lot of good shots of him. Kind of unusual in a nivana video. They usually pretend he doesn't exist. Though he is awesome.

  • @shoekstra1419 Pat? Oh, he's amazing. I would also like to.

  • i have to say i really don't like pat smear. I hated that they put him in the band. not the same.

  • robi mi się od razu lepiej jak rano posłucham tego kawałka, miażdży

  • FREAK

  • mtv should release this on dvd , best nirvana show ever

  • you can get by free. Actually I got by 2 us dlls.

  • @laniespro the best kurt cobain performance i haver ever seen....

  • @laniespro of course they will. but only when they can make the most possible money from it.

  • @thousandlegger so after the next guitar hero?

  • @laniespro

    Gives on DvD!

    Nirvana Live in Seattle 1993.

    It's a very good Bootleg.

Sry my English is not so good. I'm German ;-)

  • @laniespro Im hoping they do for the 20th anniversary of In Utero, since it had all the same setting as the album art for In Utero. If not the 20th maybe 25th or 30th. Either way I expect them to put it out someday, although you can find the whole thing of it on the internet for free.

  • i listened to them a few years ago....now again. and they still have the imortal-sound that makes you stand still and think....wow, thats so....different!

  • I sometimes still get "The Shiver" when the middle part kicks in ; "Hate your enemies! Save your friends! Find Your Place! Spit the truth!"

  • Christmas no.1 2010.

  • They jump in instead of Pearl Jam that night on a stage. And look...they did one of the best live rock performance of fucking history. Only Nirvana can do that.

  • This song, Milk it, Scentless Apprentice would have been the testaments for the future of Nirvana music...Shit, just thinking about how much talent as the band those guys had and especially Kurt...

  • @vjurkus dude I know they where and still are amazing I'm buying a fender jaguar and having it made to Kurt's specs

  • @vjurkus

i kinda disagree there this stuff rocks but kurt was apparently wanting to leave nirvana to try and leave a legacy more like johnny cash making music more like the the unplugged concert

  • yea, i read about that too, he wanted to create a band with Courtney Love or Marke Lenegan, but deep down inside he knew that he couldn't leave Nirvana due to the contracts to DGC and other stuff.

  • Exactly. In Utero were/was their best album imo, thanks to named songs.

  • they ripped off killing joke "moeny is not our god"

  • oh shit yes you can see that kurt was a big fan of them

  • your right.

  • killing joke is the shit .. theyre so incredible .. im just getting into that music and its epic

  • what is what i need

what do i think i think

  • r.i.p kurt ..........you will always rule

  • i came -_-

  • same.

  • at 3:40 kurt does some fucking awsome headbanging

  • these lyrics are so intensiv .. i get stoned when ever i read them ...

  • How can you get high on weed from reading lyrics?

  • because their so good man

  • your name is "Mrs Koffer" lol

    :)

  • One of the 5 best Nirvana songs, for sure

  • @vjurkus Agreed. This song has always been one of my favorites. Great video!

  • god.. what a poewrful sound in this live!

  • That is f**kin brilliant

    Life advice from Kurt Cobain

  • this song rulleess!!!!!!!! WOOO!!!!!

  • What is wrong with me

    what is what i need

What do I think i think

  • i havent heard this song in forever. Love the chorus

  • brilliant

  • fuck!!!!! I love Dave in this song!!! the way he plays the part after the second chorus !

  • Please, write the exact time.

  • the part that goes "save your friends, hate your enemies, ... etc!" ...dave sounds very wild in that part!

  • Cool! thanks for answer me :)

Yeah, Grohl is a "Wild Drummer", I love his style!

  • Guess you´ll like to see Dave´s performance on School at Reading 1992, during the guitar solo. If you haven´t seen it, just check it out.

  • that's my favorite one... simply amazing... that overdrive.....

  • hey, what were those spiral patterns on the backscreen and where can i find some?

  • Definitely my favorite Nirvana song. Although I think I prefer this version to the studio recording on In Utero.

  • i agree

it doesnt sound too raw in the studio unlike this and kurts vocals are just so much better in this

u get hooked on the studio version, and the live and loud version changes your life =]

  • why isn't the live version of this song on any of their albums?

  • There is a great live recording from there final European tour in '94 on a album called "Home Alive". Amazon has 88 copies available.

  • great feedback

  • Pat Smear at 0:37 just finishing his cigarette Lol LEGEND

  • hahhaa :D

  • brilliant song!!!!.. good old 90s. NIRVANA!!

  • what is the name of this song about?

  • corperate advertising with music, how the radio only puts up things that are 'friendly' to commercial audiences.

  • oo thank you

  • no problem, if you have any other nirvana questions just email me and i'll try to help.

    save your friends

    find a place

    speak the truth..

    apisteyto kommati, apisteyta tympana!!!

    R.I.P. Kurt , Respect Grohl ~ART~

  • flanger and phaser foot pedals..........

  • -----> iC00Ler

how can i make this "noise" at the start?

this is kurt special, a mix of a "Flanger" and "Phaser." foot pedals.....

play with the setting..... but have to have both..mostly flanger he used that and a small clone chorus. on nevermind..

  • It's an electro harmonix polychorus...

  • He use a Electro Harmonix Pola Chorus. It's only a Chorus.

  • It's not only a chorus, it's a psychedelic freak out machine. He probably had the small clone switched on as well. It sounds fucking brilliant!

  • how can i make this "noise" at the start?

  • You can make it with a Electro Harmonix Polychorus, just play with the knobs...

  • Great song. Whew, what a performance.

    The last important Rock band.

  • the best

  • why did kurt cobain have to kill himself damn you kurt

  • right except the last part

kurt is in heaven and is waitng for us to die to show us what he has been doing since he has been there.

  • get off the drugs

  • and excesive masturbation

  • this and very ape and lounge act are my favorite nirvana songs

  • I'd have to say this, serve the servants, and every other nirvana song I love them all

  • ya there all good, and blew and mr moustache are also my top favs

  • @emugrint add in Swap Meet and Sliver and you've got it

  • oooooh yeah 8D

  • When I think of grunge bands-Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Meat Puppets, Sound Garden, come to mind. But Nirvana rules in my books as Nu # 1 !

  • What is wrong with me................

  • this is a great song with a great guitar riff...if it was ore credited...it could have been among nirvana's greatest hits

  • dont get me wrong, this is awesome..it's just that id really would have liked if the "hate your enemies

    Save, save your friends

    Find, find your place

speak, speak the truth" was in the song a 2nd time..it would make it perhaps abit more poppy but its so fkn sweet!

so i just listen to the whole song over and over again..never get bored of it!

  • yea, thats one of sickest bridges ive heard in a song.

  • Hey guys! ...is there anybody who can play from his fuckin' heart?????? :)

  • wow

  • This is legitimately one of the greatest live performances of a song in any band's history

  • this was the greatest band ever

    R.I.P. Kurt Cobain

  • godsmak is shit

  • Best song ever?

  • yeah!!!
