It's been a while since I saw a sprite animated battle, and the last one was a Megaman Zero vs Bass edit. I like the use of the remix music and the FMV cutescenes. But during the actual combat, it's too...what's the word? Stiff. It's like X takes his turn, Zero takes his, then there's a pause, then one does this, the other does that. There are too many stops and breaks from action. It should flow , one action should go into the next. Zero should act like he does when I play him in a game,

It's like a mathematics: "X" is unknown number, and to find out what is it, you have to solve the example. "X" could be any number.
"0" (Zero) is always 0, and is like, nothing. Not a positive number, not a negative number. If you multiply by "0", the result is 0. 0 plus or minus any other number don't make a change. And you can't divide by "0".
So, that means Zero can only nullify everything, and X could be anything.
to AlllexL: The number 0 may be in itself worthless, but it also withholds limitless potential, as does the variable "X", meaning that the battle could go either way!
It also does make a lot of sense, not just because of their personallity's, but also because if you play the Mega Man X games, you'll notice how X can get all kinds of upgrades just for himself, and the only upgrades Zero could get would be ones that everyone else could get. Zero would be lucky if he could even get one upgrade just for himself. (SPOILER: In MMX5, 2nd to last stage, jump down a certain pit, there'll be an upgrade capsle for 0.)
I knew about that upgrade, it's his Black Armour (for X there's his Ultimate Armour). There's also a cheat code for that. I wonder, what it would be an upgrade for mathematics zero? Like, absolute zero (temperature)?
Absolute Zero is Zero's second armor (Black Zero being the first armor) in Mega Man X Command Mission. It's an RPG, which takes place far into the future of Mega Man X. I'm guessing it's a point in the story where Sigma was finally defeated, because he wasn't even MENTIONED one time in the game.
So yeah, Zero's Absolute armor makes him look like Bass when he combines with Treble. And all his attacks cause Ice based damage.
X has unlimited power and Zero has absolute one. It does not matter who can defeat the other one, it matters that one of them or both will always be there to defeat the bad ones.

To be honest, in reality, X is actually more powerful than Zero. It would seem that X is weaker when we look at it because he's a pacifist so he only does enough fighting to get bye and get the job done; whereas Zero isn't a pacifist by heart like X and compared to X, Zero is cold-hearted, meaning Zero doesn't mind going beastly on someone. Zero is used to savagely killing and destroying, while X is not. Its just a matter of their personality showing through their skills.
2:41 - Wait a minute... I recognize that attack!! Hehe, Omega Zero's Ultimate Shun Goku Satsu from M.U.G.E.N. Totally badass to see old-school Zero use it.
@ClaudioProductionsX Not really, Zero says that X hasn't used his true potential, and that he could become stronger than he is one day, Zero even mentions that X's power is greater than he imagined before dying in Sigma's castle. Sure Zero's powerful, but that's due since he has more combat experience than X does, you gotta think in the greater picture. If X had the same combat experience as Zero, X would have not been such a worryheart which was remedied in X6 and beyond.

Well lemme put it this way, X needs to get up greade after upgreade to even keep up. Zero just learns new blade moves. Let's see Zero get just one upgrade. XD
Not only that but Zero seems to be the favored character is fighting games. So much so that they're starting to take out megaman all together. Which im not a fan of because i do love megaman, but i cant complain becuase Zero is beast.

Zero just learns a few tricks while always retains his great power, while X may not have much but has "unlimited potential" the possibility to evolve and become stronger. @Rouenne Well and 2 last things majorly in Zeros favor that X can't compete with (and that you have have to keep in mind) First while Zero is certainly strong, you have to constantly monitor his power costs. Run out of juice and Zero stands there looking great with nothing but a base attack. Zeros weapon doesn't require any ammo or juice. Last but not least I always found Zero to be far faster in movement speed and maneuverability.
Add those 2 and you have to give the favor to Zero.
@shardsofsteel Well, X's base buster doesn't need ammo either and remember his energy hands from MHX. Though I agree with you Zero seems to have greater close combat capabilities and speed. Though I wouldn't dismiss X's base capabilities, take in count the armor upgrades don't run out of ammo like his weapons and to dispatch those few Mavericks before getting their powers X surely must know how to fight as well without power ups. Take X to the extreme and the shinning fingers come into play.
@Rouenne i have to comment on this, well assuming your theory was on use in the creation of this guys in the game xD, X means anything, and zero is 0 , zero is in fact power that can alredy use and cannot longer grow?, could be, in fact if you think that way 0 could be too strong to be unable to control at will his power but X can be anything incllude infinity, in other words X has a sleeping power, you could say they definitily are de opposite dont you think? just think(0 * infinity)xD
@GreenSpyro Also take in count what AllexL said: 0 is a stable number, doesn't add doesn't take and when multiplied it creates nothingness and a chaotic results in division. That is pretty much the porpuse of his creation at Wily's hands: a destroyer, a powerful entity to led everything to its end. X on the other side could mean anything, x could be any value, for good or bad, the possibilities are endless. The growth, the possibility to go further. X and Zero and more than names.
I disagree, with all of X's hidden potential waiting to be awakened *like it was in the second one where they tie* And the use of the armors that Dr. Light built, X could defeat Zero. Granted he'd have a lot of issues, and would probably come out the battle almost broken completely. But he might be able too. I love Zero and I love X equally, I just like the concept of X winning more. Maybe because I like Dr. Light more than Dr. Wily, and that's how it's always been in the past with Megaman.

The fight was way too one sided and the end of the video very anticlimactic, seeing how x easily won in less than half a minute after being pummeled for 2:30 minutes. Even as an X fan, i felt it was way too biased. I did enjoy the remixed battle theme and editing was very skillful.

X will never beat Zero let's say it simple Zero has more variety of moves and cannot be defeated by X. Zero it's faster better and stronger with better abilities and better weapons and armors, X's only ability is to copy bosses abilities since Zero has his own samurai and ninja abilities. That's why capcom chose Zero for the last marvel vs capcom game. Plain Simple.

Last but not least I always found Zero to be far faster in movement speed and maneuverability.
Add those 2 and you have to give the favor to Zero.

@shardsofsteel Well, X's base buster doesn't need ammo either and remember his energy hands from MHX. Though I agree with you Zero seems to have greater close combat capabilities and speed. Though I wouldn't dismiss X's base capabilities, take in count the armor upgrades don't run out of ammo like his weapons and to dispatch those few Mavericks before getting their powers X surely must know how to fight as well without power ups. Take X to the extreme and the shinning fingers come into play.

@Rouenne i have to comment on this, well assuming your theory was on use in the creation of this guys in the game xD, X means anything, and zero is 0 , zero is in fact power that can alredy use and cannot longer grow?, could be, in fact if you think that way 0 could be too strong to be unable to control at will his power but X can be anything incllude infinity, in other words X has a sleeping power, you could say they definitily are de opposite dont you think? just think(0 * infinity)xD

@GreenSpyro Also take in count what AllexL said: 0 is a stable number, doesn't add doesn't take and when multiplied it creates nothingness and a chaotic results in division. That is pretty much the porpuse of his creation at Wily's hands: a destroyer, a powerful entity to led everything to its end. X on the other side could mean anything, x could be any value, for good or bad, the possibilities are endless. The growth, the possibility to go further. X and Zero and more than names.

I disagree, with all of X's hidden potential waiting to be awakened *like it was in the second one where they tie* And the use of the armors that Dr. Light built, X could defeat Zero. Granted he'd have a lot of issues, and would probably come out the battle almost broken completely. But he might be able too. I love Zero and I love X equally, I just like the concept of X winning more. Maybe because I like Dr. Light more than Dr. Wily, and that's how it's always been in the past with Megaman.

BTW the ending is good even though i think zero is stronger since in megaman-zero the real zero(who turn maverick) is defeated by clone zero. That is damn bloody insane battle anyway.

constructive criticism:
The fight was way too one sided and the end of the video very anticlimactic, seeing how x easily won in less than half a minute after being pummeled for 2:30 minutes. Even as an X fan, i felt it was way too biased. I did enjoy the remixed battle theme and editing was very skillful.

X will never beat Zero let's say it simple Zero has more variety of moves and cannot be defeated by X. Zero it's faster better and stronger with better abilities and better weapons and armors, X's only ability is to copy bosses abilities since Zero has his own samurai and ninja abilities. That's why capcom chose Zero for the last marvel vs capcom game. Plain Simple.

X is stronger than zero. his armor can go up to 80% damage reduction, fly, incredibly overpowered strength. when ZERO punches the ground, he makes rocks fall out the ground, when X does it, he causes an earthquake. not to mention that anything dr. light created is superior to wily's creation and for the last thing, X = LIMITLESS POTENTIAL.
