i remember watching the races on tv when this happens thank fully all the safety they got now saves their asses if something like this happens. Ive seen one worce then then this though a few years back with the rail cars. nothing was really left of the car other then the cock pit were the driver was. I think the guy wa sin a coma for a few months.

There is one driver in each car. Neither died. However, they did have some injuries. I think they are both ok now from the injuries and I think one of them is racing still.

i think the outcome would of been the same, the cockpit are the strongest fart of these cars so i dont think it would of made a differnce

i was watching the show shockwave and they had this clip. when he was hit, he was hit on the bottom of the passenger side, so he wasn't hit by kenny. Kenny actually sustained worse injuries from bruce allen landing on top of his car.

yes he did live, now im not going to say that this isnt a bad crash because it was, but the pro stock cars are not traveling near as fast as top fuel/funny car. NHRA is doing a great job on the safety of these cars, however it will never be perfect in the safety aspect and this last weekend shows us how dangerous the sport can be

Bruce Allen didn't die although he did suffer numerous injuries. I don't think he returned to racing. Kenny Koretsky's injuries were not serious and he is still racing very successfully today.
