Of course Medicaid is a budget buster, oh wait that's because our health care costs in this country are higher than almost any other country in the world now, oh wait and because of that employers don't want to give health care plans to their employees anymore, oh wait and because of that Obama and the Dems had to pass a failed Health Bill that is largely unfunded in the future.

Another terrific Cato video with Dan Mitchell. Part of a free market system is to allow individuals to determine pricing with their own dollars. Another reform, however, is to remove artificial supply constraints. In the case of healthcare, that would mean allowing rapid expansion of medical schools. Rapid increase in healthcare services capacity combined with a free market demand structure would result in better, cheaper healthcare for all.

If welfare reform is such a big success then why are 54 million people in the US on welfare?

Welfare is NOT a success but it could be.

1.If you have a baby while on welfare, you lose your welfare benefits.

2. Must pass monthly drug tests to get welfare. If you fail, you lose welfare.

3. Must enroll in work training program while on welfare. Then when training over, you must seek employment.

perhaps when the top 2% pay there fair share this would not be an issue of illegetimate taking from our seniors. clearly the republican wealth devide has progressed far enough.  and clearly the humanity thing to do would be to maintain the programs they paid into all these years and not steal their funds to give a tax break to wealthy people that not only do not pay there own way, but steal from the old lady they pretend to help across the road.

Iceland dispite having a corrupt government(arent they all) won out over the financial terrorists, and the people of Greenland succeded from escaping from the EU.
