Well for starters if any play gets rough then put the cat on the floor . He will then associate this rough play with being scolded - not what kitty wants. Also and this is KEY - CONSISTENCY. If an activity or behaviour is prohibited , then do NOT have the ''oh just this one time '' mentality. Set the rules and STICK to them.

i had a kitten who used to do this.....he also took to ACTUALLY biting people....beware..........make sure kitty KNOWS what the boundaries are
