I was thinking about my mom this morning. She battled with Alzhiemers for about 6 years. It was a very dsifficult time for our family. God touch me and encouraged me to write and sing this song about 3 years ago..I'm sharing it with you guys today..RECREATE MY MIND..Dedicated to Lucille Cotton..
This is a great song. It brought me comfort as my grandfather passed away March 2nd, one month today. He was battling Alzheimer's for nine years. I really like the song and it has great lyrics.
Joe: A moving song, especially where I know you wrote it from true experience. Thanks for opening your heart for all to feel what you felt. Regards! Ken R.
Your voice to the words moved me. My grandfather died with Alzheimer's and my grandma passes away a few months back w a brain tumor. As you know Katie, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and 'mental' heath patients are not only living with the terror & pain of the diagnosis but we live with the knowledge that we are considered lost causes. Ty for making this and sharing this with us Joseph ~ Audrey
Sounds like you've had a rough last few years. Hopefully from all you've been through you can find some light again and begin to relive your life knowing that not for one second "your a lost cause". Thank you for your comments and your story, happy it touched you in the way it did :)
this song was inspired by our grandmother who passed away in 2005 with Alzheimers. She is greatly missed by our entire family. I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa.

It's an amazing song, and I can tell it's inspired by love. Alzheimer's is a cruel disease and I hope and pray they find a cure for it.
