I remember it as it was today. Bruce came walking down the main walking street in Copenhagen when he said to the persons following him: "Hey someone are playing my music". Then he joined the street musician and borrowed a guitar from one of them.

This was in his most successfull years, and also it was in 1988, when we hadn't youtube or social networks, and doing this could be a way make publicity. He is doing this because he loves music, and we love music to.

But he's hung in there pretty well, both in the quality of his new music and popularity. In August of 2003 he sold out 10 nights at Giants Stadium, at the Meadowlands in NJ; 550,000 is still the record for one stand at one venue by any artist.

He played five nights there, summer, 2009, but you're right. He's doing this because he loves to play.

The guy, the street singer is JoJo (his artist name) from Reykjavik Iceland. You can hear him play often on weekends in Austurstæti in 101 Reykjavik Center. Still playing the streets (and more)

Why is that not cool? He isn't obligated to sign any autographs. This street performance was something spontaneous, he didn't earn any money doing it, he did it for the fun of it, isn't that enough? When he did this performance, he was very rich, he had no obligation to do it. But he did it anyway, that speaks volumes of his dedication to his fans. No autograph? Completely fine by me!!!
