I'm thinking of an 8-piece maple drum kit with cymbals, reinforcement hoops, treble-sided toms (identical as well), and some attachments to "lock out" and maintain the tune (for the guitar it would be the Floyd Rose). Can you get me a list of things I need to check so I pay as less as possible yet get something durable?

Genre: Metal - Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, etc

Preference: close to Travis Barker

i need help on how i can fit an acoustic kit into a 14 by 12 foot bedroom that maybe has 5 feet by 7 feet of space to work with on placing a kit.

Here's some help. You're fucked. There's no way it will fit in that tight of space. If I were you I would try putting it into a garage or shed. Garages give better atmosphere for the sound of kits.

Anyway that you and Dave can do a show talking about (and showing) how to adjust and fine-tune double bass pedals? Got one on my church drumset (it's a Pearl double pedal - Eliminator, I think?) and I really need some tips on how to configure it better.
