He has nowhere to use his dash and dash moves which are his strengths, the construction of the stage trumps his final smash by putting a ceiling so anyone sent up there just bounces off and the spikes are there to mulitply the damage from when he screws up with his up-b which a lot of sonic players do since it brings him up so high.

Not that I don't appreciate the effort that went into this stage, but I have to say, I don't see the necessity of it. There already is a stage that perfectly cripples Sonic, especially his Final Smash. The Green Hill stage. It is so small horizontally that Sonic can't dominate movement on it with his speed, and going Super Sonic is nearly instantly fatal. Control the gap in the middle and the sides, and Sonic will almost always suicide himself, making it a much beter "anti-Sonic" stage.

And all the guys who don't like this you have to understand the weaknesses of all the characters. this field exploits sonics weakness by making it all jumbled in a way that sonic can't run to do his smash attacks and stronger attacks. But the only suggestion I would add is make the blocs ice :)

The only way it counters his smash is that it deals mainly upwards knock, and since there's a ceiling, it can't do that as effectively.

Weirdest part of Sonic in Brawl: Sonic doesn't platform well. He came from a HIGHLY platforming game. This is due to what, exactly? And yes, unlike some of the comments in this video state, this stage is EXTREMELY anti-Sonic. Here's why: Sonic goes from still to hyper fast VERY quickly. Small platforms are doomsday for Sonic.
