This is one of the best endings to an anime I've ever seen! I cried SO hard.. and every time I watch this series as well! It's just wonderful in the sense of you being completely content with the ending.. most shows leave you wanting more or have cheesy ends but this was perfect. I'm in tears by the train.. and then when I see Hayami and hear the bell, I'm a mess. Perfectly beautiful. ^^

@Myuux2 actualy she did die but otoha somehow convinced the spirit commitee to bring her back to life. Also, in the end the way hayami died was exactly the same way as his mom. He got his sight back when he realized that this whole time his mothers death was an accident. She had just wanted to save a child.

The story is quite confusing they never explained if it was his illusion or not when he met them and after he regains his memory. It started to be confusing in episode 8. Im going to watch it again I guess... I couldn't close my jaw when she got ran over pretty sad but such a happy ending.
