Actually one of the most amazing child stars, besides the great Shirley Temple would have to be probably Anna Paquin. (I can't remember the link, but if I find it I'll show you.) Well, you did actually. There are many interviews, of course, but how personal is an actor going to be to any interviewer? Well, comparatively, I do think he's better than a lot. He's not outstanding, but he's good and fun to watch.

And if you don't think an actor could be personal in any interview you must be looking in the wrong places. Actually one of the most amazing child stars, besides the great Shirley Temple would have to be probably Anna Paquin. She won an oscar for her role, not many child stars can say that, plus Dakota isn't as recognised as the other three stars of Twillight as Daniel Radcliff is posted largely on bill boards, as he is the face of HARRY POTTER.

@marleymike2 No, I'm not joking, I think he's defined himself as Harry Potter and he acted superbly in Equus. Yes, I am, but what are you basing your judgement on? I see someone who's slightly autistic, physically less capable to empathize, but does so anyway, since acting requires empathy. Not to mention that his fellow actors have always spoken highly of him. I'm not trying to pick a fight, I honestly think him better than most child actors out there. I mean, compare him to most and, I see it.

(Jump from wizard to having sex with horses, well, it kinda prevents that, I would think. xD) So your meetings with him as a fan, brief and impersonal, and interviews, again impersonal, were all? Most recently they compare them to the Twilight actors, I refuse to believe that idiots like Stewart are better than him.

@cryypt 1st off you obviously havn't seen Equs. Daniel radciffe is going to be that kid who was harry potter for the rest of his life. Any attempts at serious acting are really nothing special. And who said anything about briefly meeting him as a fan? Impersonal interviews, I can only assume you think I spend my time on youtube looking at daniel radcliffe interviews on film sets and at promotions (there ARE better interviews elsewhere). And yes I do agree with you, twilight actors are crap.

@marleymike2 Living in Singapore, seeing it would be difficult. Nonetheless, the reviews spoke highly of his performance, and his dedication to the work is clear in one particular interview. (I can't remember the link, but if I find it I'll show you.) Well, you did actually. There are many interviews, of course, but how personal is an actor going to be to any interviewer? Well, comparatively, I do think he's better than a lot. He's not outstanding, but he's good and fun to watch.

@cryypt I said nothing of meeting him as a fan for starters. I said I have met him a couple of times. Sure he is dedicated to his work, but that doesn't mean he has any breadth in his profession. And if you don't think an actor could be personal in any interview you must be looking in the wrong places. The reviews were generally good but seeing as most were just impressed that Daniel did not have a wand in his hand. I do like Harry potter though. However its the only thing meant for daniel.

I do believe that his dedication lends weight to his profession, meaning, the effort shows in his acting. Also, surely they could be, but they're actors, and it's an interview, I don't think they'd be truthfully and wholly personal. The reviews seem to applaud his performance. Yeah, I can't imagine anyone else as Harry now, but I think he could do other parts.
