I've honestly never tried to find out a "max range" for this one, since the image gets very large in a short space. From about 20 feet away, image gets 10 feet tall. Thats a much bigger "throw" than most. So I would consider this brand to be a short-ranged one, as the image would quickly get too large (and brightness too weak) if you tried to project from 100 feet, for instance.
Its the VP800 - Ive bought 14 projectors so far, and its by far my favorite. Easy, reliable, and best of all CHEAP lightbulbs. Its the only one I will deal with from now on (unless they start making projectors that are both better and cheaper...it will happen one day, but I wont hold my breath). Thanks for the comment!
I dont have one at the moment, but I probably will get another sometime soon, so may have at least one for sale before I move away for the new job. I usually ask $300, negotiable. Or I trade them for something else I may need or trade some for "family points". Thanks.
Still for sale as of this writing. Had a few no-shows but such is life. First come, first served. Till then, gonna use it for more video games and movies at the cummunity center. Check me video responces...clips from the last night's show, using the projector for "eye candy".

This one is with the lights on in the room. Projected image is spectacular once the lights are turned off. My living room is a movie theatre.
