np, just always keep your eyes open because there is a lot to learn, and no one ever knows everything so dont forget that...and I peronally wouldnt recommend these cdjs, go for Pioneer
np, and make sure you read reviews about all the dj gear you plan on getting as well....thats what I do...and I wouldnt recommend the C.314s honestly..
Im not exactly sure, I set it up then forgot how to do it. Go on the internet they have instructions...I think its like pressing the Y and X parameter buttons at the same time and turning the wheel or something...

$4900 is indeed a few thousand you could have used to buy some nice gear, two cdj 800s and a djm 800 would have cost u around $3500, ive never used stanton cdjs, but i know behringer makes the shittest equipment on earth.(ddm 4000 is decent). Here is my opinion, once again.
Yea I agree I have average gear rather than top of the line but Im much more dynamic that way and I learned a hell of a lot from the gear I have, this Behringer mixer is good in that it has a lot of channels and didnt cost much...stanton makes pretty crappy but average (affordable) gear. Im going to upgrade when I can. I plan on getting 2 cdj 800s (or if better affordable come out then those), either djm 800 or 700, 2 Technics Sl-1200s, serato, Pio effects unit, and eventually full studio gear.
ya i live canada and i found some awesome deals online from the states, got two cdj 800s MK2S for $1300, and a djm 800 for $1450, all brand new. if ur interested in serato, give a torq a look, ived used for year at clubs, raves, house parties, and i love it. its half the price of serato.
Everything cost me about 4900 dollars, including the cjds, turntables, firewire, Synth Keyboard, Amplifier, 6 speakers, Lights and lighting effects, dj software, records, mixer, cables, microphone, headphones and music up until now. Cheers.
the reson you have to press a bottun twice is becuase of the button mechanisim the button start to tarnish after a while and u will get a button failure happns to every ccd plays that us tact buttons every one does. You have to simply replace the buttons usaully start to fail after a year or so. It would be a good idea to cheak the buttons out if they are not responding
No I havent really had any problems with the cd players, rarely with one cdj the reverse comes on by itself, but I dragged them around a lot and that may explain it...I love how easy they are to use...I mainly use the laptop for recording, although I do have virtual dj and I sometimes mix in using that by changing the pitch with the mouse, and the program has some really nice effects! But I prefer hands on so I know exactly whats going on..
ohh ok vdj, yeah i use that 2 and the same cd players, my brake on my cd players never responds the 1st time , but later on im a buy serato and put them alltogether
yea man thanks, Im going to be doing tutorials on the mixer and the decks as well, Im really happy with them, the mixer isnt the top of the line ofcourse but it is rugged.
