I know nothing about Opeth. I heard this song on my Pandora station, and immediately downloaded the album. Judging from the rest of the songs on the album, I figured this is a band that plays pointy guitars, and wondered how he was getting that tone on the lead - it's amazing. Finally looked up this video, and see now how he got that tone. Mesmerizing song, I love it.
