That's a fedora! He's an old soul & a child of the 1940s. Born the same year as my mother. His style is pretty laid back, casual and reminiscent of that era. I enjoy the fact he doesn't dress all fancy-pants and try to show off for everyone. He doesn't need rosey glasses and feathers like Elton John. He's just there, love him or hate him. That's what makes him so awesome. He's real, he's wonderful.

I saw Tom in Chico in the late 70's. Jesus the guy was sooooooooooo freaking good. Played in a little place on the corner of 8th and Main. Didn't need much in the way of a stage. He brought everthing in his coat pocket. Hole crap....to see him again......my left nut wouldn't miss a thing...
