You're right, they don't make music like this anymore. I think the reason to that is the way drugs influenced the evolution of music. Since everyone is popping pills now, all they need to hear is some beats, and a repetetive hook that'll make them dance in clubs. Hence, timbaland, fergie, justin, etc. There's no real music anymore. What a sad truth.
