  • That's our Major!!

  • The finest action sequence in anime history - it does. not. get better than this folks.

  • HEADSHOT

  • 2:39-2:45 She's The One.

  • Spiders vs Wasps

  • i notice those Tachikomas still have shadow even when going invisible

  • 2:40 The chosen, better known as Neo.

  • What i love about GITS series, is that this is a kind of science fiction, that is probably possible in the next decade.

Not with ridiculous fairies and magic stuff.

I will definitely build a tachikoma-like robot, because it is possible!

  • Anyone know the music that plays during this scene?

  • @Nautalus

    this music is cyberbird

I like Jigabachi, japanese self defense forces should develop them.

  • @crowman621 cyberbird from yoko kanno

  • Holding a military helicopter with your hands?!

Are you looking to get your arms ripped off again dear Motoko?

  • If I was the R&D of a superpower. I'd have that helicopter developed.

  • Don't worry. The Tachikoma is still "alive"

  • Nice shot.))

  • best scene from one of the the best episodes!!

  • Amazing scene from my gave series. That scene was intended as a tribute of sorts to the matrix where neo holds a rope attatched to a chopper in a similar fashion. Technically it's Yoko Kanno as the artist but the voice is listed as Gabriella (rumor has it that no one knows what Gabriella looks like and is supposedly Yoko Kanno herself using a different name) I'm still a huge fan of her work either way. She worked on the music for cowboy bebop amongst others

  • @TenBear

    I thought so too

  • And this is just the second or third episode of the 2nd season. They are only showing off their cool stuff, but things turn much more dramatic in later episodes. ^^

  • Woaah..

    Motoko is so cool *__*

    ♥♥

  • Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is one of a few anime's that get 10/10 from me.

  • I usually don't give 10/10 to ANYTHING! But GitS deserves it.

  • Tachikoma: The best non-human backup you could have!

  • Major and Section 9 totally pwned those guys, I have this episode on DVD!!

Does anybody know what the name of the song is in the background?

  • I believe it is Cyberbind by Gabriela Robin.

  • Whoops, typo. Cyberbird.

  • This has to be my favorite scene of all time for Ghost in the Shell SAC, probably both seasons.

  • 3:01 that's probably where they got they idea for crying wolf in mgs4 :)

i dont remember this episode,i must go find it!

  • some many things are influenced by Ghost in the shell its almost not even funny ^_^

  • I just bought a Goodsmile Tachikoma because of this scene.

  • I've got the metal one with the Motoko figure from Goodsmile. That's a damn good Tachikoma. Expensive though.

  • @mistersvensen i hate you, when i looked for it, it was already long gone :(.....and the plastic ones only have characters i dont care. but i boght the jigabachi

  • 2:43-3:00.

Motoko Kusanagi doesn't fly kites, she flys attack hellicopters.

    Take that Mr. Norris.

  • Great teamwork in action! Love this episode. Great clip! 5stars.

  • That his a cult serie you have to get that AMAZING show on DVD i got all of them but not the movie of 1995 i will buy it, but not for the moment. Thanks for the video. But i i watch the serie in English soo i prefer in English XD

  • loved this scene! where'd you get the vid?

  • Got the series fansubbed on bittorrent.

  • oh, yea, forgot about bittorrent. *slaps forehead*

  • You can also get the DVDs too, of course. (Which I would also recommend, as the boxed set comes in a very cool case.)

  • yeah they're kinda pricey tho. plus with blu-ray comin out it would be a bit pointless to buy it now. I do hope to own em eventually.

  • To be fair, its not clear if Blu-Ray is the next big thing, DVD is good enough quality unless you're playing it on something like a 42"+ screen and you're a nut about high quality.

Also i got the box sets for £16 each ($30 each) off the net, i don't think its on Blu-Ray yet

  • yea but it does seem like blu-ray has been beating HD-DVD lately
