its decent but just call it the GXSCC version. Its the newest 8-bit fad! Maybe if you switch the drums if you can, it will definitly sound way different then every "8-bit" GXSCC remix on you tube.
Don't get me wrong you did a great job, but this sounds more like FM Synths similar to those used on those old Japanese computers (i.e. MSX2, PC-88 etc.)
I do not know if you're using VST's or not but if you are and you really want that true authentic NES/Famicom 8-bit sound, I highly recommend "Magical 8-bit Plug".
the better midi you play in GXSCC the better 8 bits "like" music you obtain. I actually think a NES can't got this quality cause of the restriction of channels for example.
Well, yes the original is indeed 8-bit, however, this is from a 32-bit...I think reduced to an 8-Bit, seeing as the instrumentation is much different.
@OlekDw Sorta Genesis-y.

Screw if it is 8-bit or not. Bloody Tears is BLOODY TEARS. Castlevania music at its finest.

Good job, but it's not 8-bit. 8-bit nintendo is not even capable of most of the sounds you put in there.

why would an 8 bit remix be "needed" when it was originally 8 bit to start with? Am I the only one here thats played Simon's Quest on the NES?

More channels = more awesome :-)

its actually using the famicom channel set and you can click away channels to make it sound better.
8 bit is best with at least 3 or 4 channels.
nintendude8 2 years ago 2
how do you click away channels ? :O
XxRelmxX 2 years ago
just click on them and the white dot should dissappear

I will try this, thank you !

What program DO you use? I'd like to know, so I can get it myself. I've got a few tunes(MP3 format) laying around that I'd love to hear in 8-bit.

sounds good. "Bloody Tears" is excellent.

this is always a great song, but isnt the origanal 8 bit?
dammets93 3 years ago
I know. Even for a 8-Bit theme. It does sound 16-Bit.
Thats the power of the program I use.
FinalRoxasXIII 3 years ago 3
This sounds more like 16-bit, but still awesome. Dracula XX as well as Dracula X's version of Bloody Tears was quite unique.
