I've actually seen a good many videos of Asian jazz. A lot of us Americans don't realize the vast musical diversity they have over there.

I remember seeing a video of John Denver back in the 70s playing "Take me Home, Country Roads" with a Japanese guitarist.

I listen almost exclusively to hip-hop, but I love Norah Jones. haha

I love this clip - thanks for posting it. Whilst the singing is not exactly Norah Jones - it is very charming as is the singer. Sachika sings with scincerity and the band are very good and with her all the way. Just shows how when Japanese people attempt something they give it full attention and put thier hearts into it.

thanks! People have to realize every singer sings or rather tells a song in their own way so it doesn't become a pale imitation of the original. This isn't karaoke and Norah Jones is too awesome to imitate perfectly and no one should try.
