They are, without a doubt, my favorite enemy units in the game. They provide a good challenge for a truly epic experience. Regular infantry are boring, snipers are annoying as hell, and panzergrenadiers just plain suck.

It is nigh impossible to survive just running through the Flakturn basement with five Storm Elites and other ranks firing automatic weapons at you.

You can defeat the Storm Elites if you have the STG44 and double-mag upgrade. Run away from the first guy.

Hide beside the sets of vertical pipes & let em come to you. If you have to shoot any of the regular soldiers first re-load instantly.

Fire in v short bursts, in may take a clip & a half each. There's one hiding near some electrical gear.

Eh, well the uniforms are correct, same in allgemeine SS. But of coure one shoot is deadly for every soldier. The germans had no bady armour in ww2. Olny high ranked officers had some for protection.
