I adore this movie for so many reasons!

I think a big part of the reason why the movie was able to convey so many great messages (i.e. the need for community/ fellowship with others, caring for the environment) without it getting preachy is that, according to interviews with the writers, the movie originally wasn't intended to have those messages, they just sort of grew out of nowhere as the movie developed.

First when that Movie came out me and my ex baby started calling each other Walleee and eeeva... Hey RIGHT at 4:34 . I could tell right off the bat that when WALL-E unfolded his head something was wrong . I know its weird sounding... but throughout the movie when you looked into Wall-e's eyes , i could actually see emotion . But now for some reason i saw emptiness in his eyes then .

Notice how no one sees Wall-E as an interloper of any sort. Even GO-4 just shrugs (literally), not seeing him as a threat at first. His politeness and gentle nature rub off on everyone he comes in contact with. I wish everyone could be like that.

Note: The Jabba-the-Hutt lifestyle does have its perks, but would probably get really boring after a while.

at first when i saw it at the movie theatre i thought it was dumb. But then i bought the dvd and realized that it is the bestest movie ever made!

I'm an American and yes, there are fat people. And whenever I shop for groceries I see them driving around in those carts that are intended for injured people and it makes me physically ILL!! }:-( I have no pity for them, nor do I resent them. It just disturbs me that they lack self-respect. Just remember that we're not all like that. A lot of us are more like WallE -- honest, hardworking, even kind, but also lonely and yearning for more than the daily grind.
