There's no proof that evolution is anything but a fairy tale. It would take me more faith to believe that we evolved from slime that climbed out of the ocean than to believe in creation. Scientific theories are only designed to describe certain sets of facts and observations.
You wouldnt say a murder investigation is wrong because the prosecutor cant explain how the knife was made in the factory or where the materials in the knife came from. Whether the knife was magically created by god or created in a factory has no impact on whether it was used to stab the woman in the back.

In other translations, the term 'heavens and earth were closed, and we have opened them' translate to 'heaven and earth were all a single point, till we exploded it into existance'. Arabic language is very suffisticated. The verse only contain 15 or so words, but wen translated it has like 30 in english.

There's no proof that evolution is anything but a fairy tale. It would take me more faith to believe that we evolved from slime that climbed out of the ocean than to believe in creation. At least creation has more evidence than evolution. The chance of man becoming the way we are by some sort of cosmic accident is about the same as throwing a bunch of metal and plastic into the air and expecting a computer to land on the ground. You wouldnt say a murder investigation is wrong because the prosecutor cant explain how the knife was made in the factory or where the materials in the knife came from. I was saying they could debate any theoretical physicist. In quantum mechanics, it is possible for an electron and positron to appear, counteract each other, and disappear. This seemingly small bit of energy is all you need to start the big bang.

The question you asked me? You mean the one that was completely irrelevant to my point? Yes, what I don't know vastly outnumbers what I do know, which is true for everyone except God (assuming He exists). But that's not what I asked you.
What I asked you (and I'm going somewhere with this, so please answer the question, as it will provide you the way to prove Creationism/I.D. and disprove Evolution once and for all, if you can) is: do you lack the WISDOM to debate us AT THE SCIENTIFIC LEVEL?

My name (or handle) isn't "Coma." I have treated your name with respect, despite it having a very nifty pun that goes right along with what I was saying. I didn't correct you on it before because you didn't seem to be malicious about it, but my handle is "COMALite J" (J being my first initial). That's "COMAL-ite" as in "Israel-ite." Not "Coma Lite." COMAL is a computer programming language which I was the member of a user group of way back when, and have used this handle online ever since.

I'm giving you the opportunity to PROVE it ONCE AND FOR ALL, for the WORLD!! You, juliefication, right here, right now, have the opportunity to put Evolution down for the count, for ALL TIME!!
And all you have to do is state that (A) you LACK the wisdom to debate us SCIENTIFICALLY, and (B) that your faith is UNWAVERING.

What makes you think that Darwinian evolution has diddly squat to do with what we (or the apes, re: your later question about not being able to watch TV or go to sports) want? Lamarkian evolution, perhaps, but that was discredited long ago.

All of the objections that Creationists bring up are like that: objections to things that Darwinian evolutionary theory doesn't even say and never has said.
I could as easily say that Christianity disproves itself because Jesus is never shown in the Bible using heat vision. Of course, no version of Christianity that I know of even SAYS that He should, so that would be a ridiculous objection, right?
Well, that's what YOUR objections to Darwinism sound like. It's called the Strawman Fallacy.

Funny you should mention that "absurd" thing I should try. You see, I used to be a fully born-again Bible-believing evolution-denouncing Christian. I was not persuaded away from Christianity by reading any atheist literature of any kind (including websites).
What made me an atheist? I read the Bible. All the way through.

As for the Old Testament prophecies that Jesus allegedly fulfilled, first off, many of them aren't even Messianic prophecies, nor prophecies at all. For instance, "Out of Egypt have I called my son" is from Hosea and isn't even a PROPHECY, let alone a Messianic one. It's God talking about His delivering Israel (His "son") out of Egypt in Exodus.
"He shall be called a Nazarene" isn't even in the Old Testament at all!
Jesus was NOT named "Immanuel" as Isaiah 53 requires.

And now, something for YOU to try, since you wouldn't accept my earlier opportunity. Here's a simple experiment you can perform to disprove evolution and prove Creationism or at least I.D.
All you have to do is not eat ANY Vitamin C from now until, oh, say, Easter of 2010. Not ONE MOLECULE of ascorbic acid enters your body from outside by ANY means: not in food, not juice, not "juice drinks," not pills nor capsules nor injections nor supplements of ANY kind. Have this certified by a dietician.

On Easter Sunday of 2010, post a video showing us all how you're still alive and well and healthy, and not suffering from any degree of scurvy nor any other Vitamin C deficiency.
If you survive and thrive despite honestly allowing NO Vitamin C into your body from outside (and are not of Innuit descent), then congratulations! You've disproven evolution and proven Creationism/ID!
But if you get any Vitamin C deficiency to any degree whatsoever, sorry, but you PROVE evolution and DISprove ID!
