I. Scratches on film are caused by repeated use. That is, running it through a projector numerous times. Also, excessive handling.
2. The rest of the aging portrayed in the "film" (color shift and graininess) is usually caused by exposure to the air and/or the sweat and oil from the hands of those handling it.
Cameras are close to air tight. And film found in a camera would have only gone through the gate once. There wouldn't be that much damage.

hmm...at first, looks like a gorilla, and how the fuck did you film the strip running away from Mr. Bigfoot? unless had another person go along with you, good graphics and couldve looked real until Mr.B comes chasing u guys and u film the kid running...smooth, and if it were a Bigfoot, then it wouldve run away long time ago, known to be very shy around people. And then, it wouldve attacked earlier when you were filming from the bush at 0:30 approximately...makes me skeptical
The film only plays 38 sec then it turns off. I want to know what happens. I see it behind the vertical logs, hear the growl, it pops its pointed black head. Cut to something else. Is this 2min 15 sec or 38 long? I hear children playing in the background. Is this a busy camp ground? Who found this film?
I have more questions, but I know there are no answers.
This reminds me a little of those commercials where the group of guys piss off Bigfoot, and then the one guy in the vest always gets his ass kicked when Bigfoot comes after them. I too would get pissed if someone tried to follow me through the woods.
