one thing that always annoyed me with a lot of mmos was, that the cities lacked a certain amount of character and uniqueness and i think wow got that thing down quite nicely, but the cities arenanet has shown us so far look really amazing and all have their own style to them :)
I have been a Asura Fan for a long time and i never understood on the guru forums why people hated them so much but after asura week and this video more and more people are turning over to the asura. I so hope there will be plenty of asura to play with! We can all get inside our golems and hunt some charr for Fur coats and Carpets :D

@Goldcrest7 There is no official release date yet as far as I know, but I believe some places like Gamestop do currently allow people to reserve the game. (Just don't believe a word they say about there being a release date as they always say such things just to get people to reserve a game.)
@Goldcrest7 I believe if I remember correctly they are still in closed beta(I think?). They have still got quite a few things to finalize but the game is guaranteed to be released sometime next year. Their comment to being asked when it will be released was "It'll be released when its ready".

As the original has been alive for well over half a decade already & has sold over 7 million copies as being an award winning series. So as the new one is seen as completely different than the original and a far better improvement, it is seen as a game with a lot of potential and many put their trust in the company as the makers of Gw2 had founding members that took important roles in the creation of WoW, Diablo, & other games.

Even recently some pvp videos got out so you might want to look for that, but first I suggest you check out my channel's playlist for Gw2 info. I made a pretty good compilation of gameplay and interviews I found around youtube. And from everything I've seen on demos and researched about via mag articles, I'd say they're backing up everything they say thus far.

@capadom Actually its FTP, All the guildwars games have been FTP online since they have started. All you have to do is buy it from your local retail store or Gamestop for Idk how much. It isn't laggy either, Guild wars Arena net have always had fast servers. Guild wars 1 and its expansions rarely lagged for me, Trust me i have a pretty crappy computer as well. The system requirements will probably be a little higher now from the in depth detail but the games worth buying the new Graphics card.

Seriously the wow players have been being scammed for years; horrible costumer service, stagnant recycled content, the complete game being numbed down yr by yr...Classes constantly being reworked as part of the recycle program. They have taken billions from us n used it for what? Games have been out with 1000% more content updates (without recycled techniques) Wow is wow because its that cool shop in the mall..doesn't mean they're your friend. Eat, sleep, breath wow and its all u fukrs see.

@capadom Actually its FTP, All the guildwars games have been FTP online since they have started. All you have to do is buy it from your local retail store or Gamestop for Idk how much. It isn't laggy either, Guild wars Arena net have always had fast servers. Guild wars 1 and its expansions rarely lagged for me, Trust me i have a pretty crappy computer as well. The system requirements will probably be a little higher now from the in depth detail but the games worth buying the new Graphics card.

Damn...that actually looks really amazing. Funny people see Shatt in it. I suppose in colour palette, but this place looks way bigger and cooler. And thanks to a lack of flying mounts the sense of scale will be kept in tact!

This game isn't looking good at all. The way people walk seems floaty and chunky, the combat also being floaty and chunky. I don't see why there's so much hype for this game. The hype is going to ruin it, because people think its going to be amazing, and it looks far from it.
