the only story plot for this line of te zelda games comes from wind waker then phantom hourglass, the other stories are all over the placeand has been made into a video on youtube somewere about the timeline and how there is no exact fit but yea this kind of has a timeine/storyline to it as it was wind waker such and such years after ph then now 100 years later spirit tracks

I love Zelda not just because it has great storylines, but also because it's the first game I'm about to finish. Mind you, PH is great because it's my first Zelda game.

I'm not paying much attention to this title at all. Thanks to being gravely disappointed by PH (that's right fanboys), I wouldn't be suprised if this boiled down to yet another BORING, long and tiring, way too easy and mediocre effort that PH really is. Of course you fanboys couldn't see that; you think everything is great because you're ignorant. Anyway I'll see what this title has to offer, and I'll see how many of you butthurt faggot fanboys give this comment 1,000,000 thumbs down.

I actually agree with you. I hated PH... Just because I have a news series doesn't mean I'm actually looking forward to it. Honestly, the Zelda series has gone way downhill since Majora's Mask.

You know what, it feels so GREAT to conversate with someone who isn't the typical FANBOY! I was expecting the usual "you suck", etc. BS, but you see where I'm coming from. Believe me, I LOVE Zelda and played almost every Zelda there is, but PH just stands out as a mediocre title. I played the BEST of Zelda, even the most bashed Zelda 2 that is actually one of my favorites. They FELT like Zelda games but PH just felt....bland.

To put all that short, if this one returns to the franchises roots and feels like a ZELDA game WITHOUT invisible barriers/lame gimmicks (ships and trains) as well as offer a REAL challenge/difficulty (I don't want Zelda 2 to be the ONLY challenging Zelda out there), I'd actually pay attention to it. And you're right about the franchise going downhill! I haven't played MM yet; I always wanted to though. Anyway, if they keep making Zeldas like PH, the CDi Zeldas will start to look good! XD

I definitely agree with you on everything you just said. PH was awfully bland, and it was like a chore to play. I do wish Zelda would go back to its original roots and remove all of the invisible barriers and stuff. I wish Zelda was still about exploring and challenge. Now the games just hold your hand the whole way through. When I first bought Twilight Princess years back, it was a used copy. One file on the game was beaten, so I just loaded it up to see it. I had so much fun just running around a completely open overworld, not knowing where to go. I was excited when I found Arbiter's Grounds hidden deep in the desert, and when I found the sacred grove. TP's world was completely new to me, and it was just amazing. I started a new file in excitement, but was very disappointed when I realized how easy it was and how it was a one area at a time type game. TP would have been great if they just dropped you in the middle of the overworld without limits.

I hear ya, ZST; anyway the fanboys are already lining up to attack me, so I'll just bid you adieu, and hopefully Zelda returns to its roots and difficulty (Zelda 2 FTW) so the franchise can be revived and shine again. I've heard much about OoT and MM but never played it, unfortunately. i'd have to disagree with you since PH was quite an amusing game, but then again, that could be me saying that because it's my first actual game to reach past at least five, four bosses. Reading you and ZST's comments, I'd have to agree too. Being free and mindless is fun, but having barriers can have its advantages, too. Like the Whirlpool slate.

The Links in The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link were the same.

The Links in A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening were the same.

The Links in Oracle of Ages and Seasons were the same.

The Links in The Minish Cap and Four Swords were the same.

The Links in Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass were the same.

Four Swords Adventure and Spirit Tracks are the only separate Links.

Actually play all of the games before you make stupid assumptions.

um at 4:14 the picture on the top screen of the DS has what looks like little blue trains. I have been searching the internet and there are rumours that the little blue trains are 'evil trains' that will try and de-rail links train or something like that. I thought it was a load of rubbish when i read it but now that i saw your video i'm having different thoughts. Do you know if the blue trains are 'evil'?

Actually, the beetle boss is the second dungeon, if you'd notice the four hearts.

Actually, the beetle has been confirmed to be the boss of the first dungeon. Remember that Link can get heart containers.
