Microsoft still builds good operating systems, but their game system and their other products are fail because the HARDWARE is shitty. If Microsoft built the hardware of every computer on the market, I'd be a Mac user.
Really, if you want the best security, Linux is the way to go. But I digress... Sony builds decent PCs as well. So do a ton of other companies.
