Well done UK Uncut. I uploaded footage of the peaceful protest in F & M to the BBC website on the same night that the demonstration was held. It was exactly the same video that I also uploaded to YouTube under the title 'Occupy for the Alternative'. But the BBC never showed it. I suppose it contradicted the message that they were giving out.
I don't understand all these messages saying that it is "brilliant" or "successful". These deranged long-haired Maoists are severely deluded if they think they will get the sympathy of ordinary normal decent law-abiding taxpayers by going on the rampage and terrorising ordinary normal decent tax-paying BBC employees. Instead of standing idly by and watching the building being ransacked, the police should have sent in the SAS to squirt custard into the ears of these demented hooligans.
@johnloony I am a 60yr old, ordinary, normal decent law abiding tax-payer who through my apathy and the rest of the silent majority we have allowed a situation where everything my parents and grandparents fought for is being lost . A free education, good health care and a secure future I took for granted but these are being sacrificed for the greed of a small minority. I applaud 'ukuncut' and far from being deranged I fear it is you (unless you have an offshore bank account) that is deluded
Well done Liverpool Uncut. Love the logo on the cakes, and the twee little three tier cake stand. How did it end up? Did you walk out or get arrested?
Another successful UK Uncut protest. Congratulations to all who took part. Its good to see that even the police managed to be peaceful this time. Also, well done to Alex for the way he explained the protest to the cameraman/interviewer.
I saw that same BBC broadcast as I was on my way home. (I believe it was a reporter with an Irish name) I personally thought that the reporter had been in the pub all afternoon it was so sloppy! :D
Good work guys. I was outside F&M as the disproportionate police buildup arrived. Check out my account of the day on my channel. xx
Love what you're doing but with all due respect we can never expect anything but propaganda from the BBC. If we consider tax is enforced via threat of violence and funnelled into channels we have little to no control over (war, and propaganda stations like the BBC, despite the 'good' causes) then the BBC is an arm of the state and will enforce the states message. We need to become the media. If you want to see just how bad the bbc are, check out medialens.
fantastic stuff! thanks for all involved in UKUNCUT. you are standing up for teachers, nurses and jobs. Cuys would not be neededin bankers were dealt with seriously and tax evasion and avoidance were stopped
@NeilCB1 :) - Maybe they nicked them last week.... But, then, the police would have confiscated them on arrest, and then had to re-supply them to arrest again on receiving stolen goods. It gets complicated, but plausible...
There is a danger violent anarchist black bloc may be accused of having a tea party though. I do hope they dont get tarnished with your tea party brush.
You can see the cops scratching their heads and thinking 'what the fuck do we do now?'

No intelligence gathering by the cops here then?

Excellent stuff. The BBC portrayal of the protesters was a disgrace. Oh, and BBC Radio Merseyside's full of Everton fans.

What are the police doing there? Haven't they behaved illegally enough already?

Awesome, the police don't know what to do with themselves!
I was also in Trafalgar Square and can vouch that no one was drunk or violent until the riot police started waving batons at us.

Terrific Guys. This is the best response. If there are more of these protests, more and more people will realise what a scam April 26 was.
