@Leto85 just with a natural appearance people forget that is a robot and begins to treat it like alive being. That happens with the robot seal Paro, and Papero. Of course will be people who doesn't accept robots in the future, fundamentalist religious groups, but they also will treat robot as if they were alive and will tray to "kill" it with fire!!. Just Cyborgs could be considered alive, robots with rat neurons for example.

@AZURA888 I know. That triggers the discussion that only beings that are alive can be respected. I personally disagreed. I would add to that: if a being is sapiens and/or alive you should respect it. No matter if it's biolical, syntetic or in any other form.

I think it's how the 'buildingblocks' react and interact with each other, more than what those buildingblocks are build of.

As long as people can not accept gay people or people with another skin, they are not ready yet for sapien robots.

Well this could be wonderful for a young couple who are trying to have kids, but are not abel to, but before they can get these robot babies in an actual home environment they have a lot of work ahead of them. So I hope it works out for them.
