An MS patient, but she didn't die from the MS. She killed herself at Dignitas after her drugs grew effective, and she had two young girls to take care of. She did it secretly; we couldn't stop her. I dont smoke myself, but i support the State's right to choose whether it should be allowed, and so does Ron Paul. It is a violation of the 10th ammendment for the federal government to presume it has the authority to supercede the States' position. (like California). Register republican now, vote Ron Paul in your states primary, then and only then can he become president, and end this silly War On Drugs. He has no problem pardoning NONVIOLENT federal prisoners that are there for drugs.

I have Becker's muscular dystrophy and I am in the same boat. All of my doctors want me to keep my weight up and marijuana helps us do that. It's sad that Ohio doesn't allow medicinal marijuana. We also have an Inactive lifestyle that can cause depression and lack of interest. I always say Chronic weed can handle my Chronic Disease...Lets get it legalized already!

And yet we have decided as a country that the inherent risks of abuse when it comes to alcohol do not outweigh the good that comes from allowing ppl to enjoy it. And pot is safer than alcohol. The pt. becomes this: is it the gov't's right to tell me what I can and cannot put into my body? No. If I drive high and kill someone then I should pay the consequences, but chances are, I wouldn't be driving more than 5 pmh anyway.
