I love Al Franken even though I don't always agree with him I usually do, I have read some of his books, and he's clearly very intelligent and well educated. However, I don't think "it was a joke" is the way to go on this one. First, I've heard the audio and it didn't strike me as a joke. It struck me as a bigot being a bigot. Second, even if it was a joke, there are jokes that are acceptable and those that aren't. This one isn't. Third, Windbags talking about politics aren't as offensive.

Hey it doesn't matter who gets into the oval office. The two party system is a Marxist tool of manipulation. Google "dialectical materialism." I just believe that Obama is the next puppet in line to keep the banks borrowing fiat(fake)money from the Federal Reserve. This does nothing but devalue our money and increase our debt(to the Federal Reserve). McCain would've borrowed for more war but Obama will borrow way more to fund the further socialization of Amerika. And thanks for name calling:)

I witnessed that entire Glenn Beck show with Kieth Ellison. Beck bent over backwards to show that Ellison's religion had no bearing on his patriotism, or ability to hold office.
