The first time I saw Neil, it was 1980 and he was by himself at the Cincinnati Coliseum. 20,000 strong in the place and he played the whole Decades album. I remember he was talking to the audience and telling us how his band (Crazy Horse) couldn’t make it, they got cold feet or something, so he was kind of nervous, and all of sudden someone yelled out “that’s all right brother”, and you could just tell that was a confidence booster, because he busted out with Heart of Gold the crowd went crazy
There is so much more depth here than in the original, especially in the guitar playing, and I have always loved the original. Thank for the upload, and the internet too I guess.
I was at this show with my dad, orchestra section 15th row. I'm 18 and Neil is my favorite artist by far, so it was very special for both of us. Thanks for recording and posting.
@xROFLawsonx Neil is awesome you are into one of the most awesome artists I'm gonna be 19 and I remember listening to neil youngs harvest moon album at 6 months old my dad would hold me while the song was on
@xROFLawsonx thats nice to hear. I'm 27 but when I was like 16 I went and saw him and CSN play live in Detroit and it was one of the best experiences in my life to date. Long Live Neil!
Saw him in Richmond last night. Looks like the setlists between the Durham show and Richmond show were pretty much the same. Incredbile show. I've seen Neil many times and the Richmond show was one of the best ever. I'm sure Durham was great too. Would have loved to have caught that one as well.
I was there last night! It was almost too much to take in. Thanks so much for sharing this. One of the best concerts I've ever attended. Seeing and hearing Neil brought back the joys and heartbreaks of my young life in the 1970's.
love this song

if you actually care and read all of this, then thank you.
i work my butt off 2 make it in the youtube biz, but its impossible 2 make it if noone
ever hears you, and its hard to get people to hear you when you have no
exposure....i dont have the money for amazing music videos or big youtube
advertisements....so all im left with is spam.
if you could take two seconds to give me a thumbs up just so people know i
exist.... you dont have to like me, just gimme a chance to be liked

@xROFLawsonx It's cool to know that guys of your age are listening to artists of another generation. There is hope in this world yet. Peace man.

Absolutely incredible sound and video considering where you were sitting. Audio-wise there isn't a bad seat in the house at the DPAC. Nice work.
